Flame of Redmane can melting sunflower. Make some distance so the flame could spread to get multiple hits and aim to the flower. With proper fire damage buff, you will need 3-4 hit. (If not hitting stem or branch)
Consort Radahn does have a vulnerability in his 2nd phase moveset; using Lord's Divine Fortification drastically reduces the damage of all beams of light. It's even more reduced with Golden Braid and Pearldrake Talisman +3.
It's also worth mentioning Metyr's arena is in water, so lightning can also do the job well. Was running an Ancient Dragon spell build against her, did quite well!
Rot breath & fingerprint shield carried me through most of the DLC tbh. Just because I love using it to fuck around in PvP, and it seemed like every boss I fought was weak to rot with the exception of a couple
For Metyr her arena is also covered in water so lightning damage is also a good option. The new lightning spear incantation especially does a number on her
Prime Radahn also succumbs to frost quite well. I used a cross naginata infused with cold and that helped me apply both bleed and frost for quick buildup of damage.
He failed to mention this about Radahn (as well as many of the other bosses of the DLC), but he's pretty susceptible to holy damage and bleed as well. Frost works on just about everything in the DLC, so that will also be a really good thing to use.
You can parry Radahn’s aggressive combos in both phases. Or you can use either Fingerprint or Verdigris greatshield and poke him with a thrusting sword with bleed on it and you’ll just out-tank him.
Scarlet Aeonia triggers rot immediately on him in both phases if you're able to trigger it without him canceling it out. I use it immediately after rolling when he does his gravity spin attack. I usually get hit twice afterwards, but it's worth it if you can heal somehow.
Poison works pretty well on Radahn, I was using a Poison Anspur for the dual Rot/Poison and in the second phase the rot never procced, but the poison did consistently.

Rotten wing sword insignia for repeated attack buff, great shield talisman for better guard, dragon crest great shield talisman for damage reduction, and 4th is up to you! Ez low diff fight once you learn when to dodge, recover stam, and so on.
Something worth noting, Radahn is actually weak to holy on his first phase. Second phase also only makes his defense as high as the other elements, 40% across the board. And his pierce damage is also lower comparatively. Leda's Sword might be a good pick. I personally like to go with the Euporia.
God I loved that when I couldn’t beat radahn I was wondering what he could be weak to and then it hit me it’s gotta be rot and it was like actually the attention to detail is amazing
Fun fact, in canon Radahn is being healed of Rot and other conditions by Miquella. If you manage to get a frost status, the condition also fades much more quickly. Likely due to Mohg's burning blood shtick. So Bleed is the best bet. Though, thematically, I wish phase 2 Radahn would have been succeptible to sleep. Would have been poetic
Using fingerprint shield and godskin stitcher on Radahn paired with the verdigris armor set is a very effective strategy. If you just mind the stamina and don't stop blocking his attacks do very little damage even in 2nd phase.
Man, my buddy and I had two bosses back to back where I was stuck forever while he breezed through, then the reverse happened. Gotta tell you, the Frenzy spell that fires out that single long distance shot trivialized the Tree avatar, since it just went directly for its head from a massive distance. Turned it onto kindling
2nd phase radahn is more resistant to rot than 1st phase because he (and any boss) becomes more resistant after the first rot and this resistance carries to the 2nd phase. You could avoid rotting him on 1st phase since that one is the easy part of the fight and keep it for the 2nd half. In addition to that: Commander Gaius is also very weak to fire and the tree avatar is resistant to black flame.
i found that blackflame is pretty good for radahn since it does % max health damage. this means his MASSIVE health pool (if you choose to summon thiollier and pureblood knight ansbach) isn’t a problem. still gotta deal with even HITTING him though in his second phase
Radahns greatest weakness is the fact that he's extremely susceptible to being parried in his first phase, Major telegraph attacks, If you can Parry him into his second phase this boss becomes almost trivial that's exactly how I beat him
For Radahn just get a chunky armor set, get the best great shield u got and some shield grease and use the Antspur rapier with bleed on it and you can just sit there and tank his attacks taking little to no chip damage from the holy in phase 2.
Radahan is still pretty weak to both rot and poison in second phase as well. I am cooping and have an Antspur rapier with poison damage on it as well. I proc both statuses continuosuly on him and helped quite a few people overcome this final hurdle if the host is skilled enough to survive his comet attack.
Some bosses can be shredded by using the ice projectile ash of war or just a cold infused weapon and then throwing a fireball/hitting them with a flame weapon when the effect procs so it resets instantly. I beat Messmer, Metyr and Midra relatively easy with them. They're all weak to frost damage, especially messmer. Same goes for holy slash one enemies that are weak to holy like putrescent knight, death rite bird, ghostflame dragon. It's a mid range option and when you hit them with the blade and the projectile at the same time it can do absolutely crazy damage. If you're struggling with radahn, I found out his first phase is somehow weak to holy too, so the golden wave ash of war on the sword that is made out of his dads spine does A TON of damage to him, 2-5K HP per cast. It's still making his second phase take so much damage that the HP bar gets yellow, but it's only half as effective and the boss is way too fast, also it has high FP cost. So I'll probably have to either perfect his moves or try something else, and I've tried everything at this point. I wish he wasn't that hard because I really like the presentation, design and music of prime radahn, he just feels so unreasonably overpowered compared to the rest of bosses. But hey we got the only two demigods in their prime at once.
Scarlet aeonia works pretty well on him, 1 cast is more than enough to rot him. You can also use the dragon communion breaths, but they might not be better for cost.
2 hefty rot pots will proc in phase 2 and if you can tank the opening aoe explosion you can just throw them at the start of the phase while he's casting.
Getting Spear of the Impaler lets you go on a fucking rampage for a section of the game, specifically from Scadutree Avatar to Romina. Legit felt like the grim reaper using that weapon skill my playthrough.
For Rellana: gravel stone seal + lightning physick tear + knight's lightning spear (add scorpion charm too if you'd like, but i opted for more defense). Her dodge ai doesnt seem to recognize the lightning spear spells and they do +10% damage whenever she's in the water. Fortissax's spear works too, but requires you to be more aggressive
Trick to Rahdahn: put on your heaviest armor, level up either verdigris or fingerprint shield to max as well as either the bloodfiend great fork or regular fork with blood affinity. And poke while standing behind the shield. Never drop guard except to rebuild stamina. Talismans: golden braid, lord of blood (or greatshiel talisman for extra d), pearl shield, double turtle. Edit: do not worry about weight and fat rolling or damage boost etc. Just keep locked on and keep the shield up no matter what. You're welcome.
Gave my mimic a repeating crossbow with Black Key Bolts in one slot and burred bolts in the other. Whole time Ansbach, Thiollier and I was facing Radahn head on, Mimic was riddling him with rot and bleed. Only reason I beat him was because mimic inflicted him with rot during phase 2… At 25% health the other three were dead and it was just me. It totally saved me.

Turned it onto kindling
this game really does range from piss easy to impossible based on individual playstyles, one of the far and few cool things about this entry
Such complicated explanation for what uninevitably leads to Verdigris Shield + Bleed Thrusting Sword
All bosses weakness: me and my mimic tear spamming the shit out of them with reduvia+10
Metyr is also technically weak to lightning because the entire arena floor is water, same as the hippos.
Me using the black knife at every start of the fight:👀👀
2nd phase radahn is more resistant to rot than 1st phase because he (and any boss) becomes more resistant after the first rot and this resistance carries to the 2nd phase. You could avoid rotting him on 1st phase since that one is the easy part of the fight and keep it for the 2nd half.
In addition to that: Commander Gaius is also very weak to fire and the tree avatar is resistant to black flame.
Radahn consort of miquella have one weakness that keep in the second phase: trusting damage
So you can pick up the Antspur rapier for him
i found that blackflame is pretty good for radahn since it does % max health damage. this means his MASSIVE health pool (if you choose to summon thiollier and pureblood knight ansbach) isn’t a problem. still gotta deal with even HITTING him though in his second phase
From my fights with radahn, bleed, poison and rot worked pretty well
man, its weird that i kinda just figured out half of these accidentally, from just switching between my bleed and fire main weapons between retrys
Rahdan is also suseptible to bleed.
He's also has resistances to everything except holy.
From what I’ve noticed: radahn is literally weak only to bleed. Everything else he resists.
Another way of looking at it is if Radahn is resist to pretty much everything that just mean everything is viable against him.
I saw you jump attack on radahn 😅good luck indeed on that one
For Radahn I buffed Cross Cut naginata with Blood Flame blade and that worked really well.
Fun fact the Lord of frenzy has a weakness to frost too. Making it easy to build
Scarlet aeonia works pretty well on him, 1 cast is more than enough to rot him. You can also use the dragon communion breaths, but they might not be better for cost.
Flower boy dies in one second with oil + fire pot
I was having a hell of a time against Bayle until I used ancient dragons lightning strike. It absolutely shreds him.
2 hefty rot pots will proc in phase 2 and if you can tank the opening aoe explosion you can just throw them at the start of the phase while he's casting.
Greatest weakness: Mimic Tear summons and Impenetrable Thorns. Goes for all the base game bosses as well LOL
Radahn is also weak to bleed in his first phase. If you time it, you can take a good chunk of his health bar away from the second phase!
Bro is sounding very similar to MatPat, Just a sleepy version
Gave my mimic a repeating crossbow with Black Key Bolts in one slot and burred bolts in the other. Whole time Ansbach, Thiollier and I was facing Radahn head on, Mimic was riddling him with rot and bleed. Only reason I beat him was because mimic inflicted him with rot during phase 2… At 25% health the other three were dead and it was just me. It totally saved me.
"Very dramatic ending" shield and sprint with Quiet 🤣
