Not true. Current technology enables cars to reach such performance. Aero, drag, handling, turbocharging, and many other factors enable cars today with decent horsepower to go that fast. The Golf R can do 0 to 100 in 4.3 seconds. Not too long ago, that was supercar territory. 385bhp is not a lot if you ask me. With a wise choice of tyres and decent horsepower, its more than enough to make cars go like rockets.

I drove the basic 992 With sport chrono last summer for a whole day. It just blew me away. You absolutely do not need more power. 0-100 in 3,8 sec and rew 7500 With an awesome sound inside the car. Love it!!!
And that's the base model, no sport chrono or launch control! Base model is underrated. So happy I got an allocation, will be in the US in early June :)
Watched it again. He's "launching it" (just going from a standstill), but it doesn't have launch control (that comes with sport chrono, which this doesn't have: launch control makes a few modifications to optimize off-the-line performance). You can tell by the lack of the chrono clock on top of the dash, no drive mode dial on the steering wheel, and no "Launch Control Activated" alert on the digital driving display when he starts from a dead stop.

That last Dk Blue 911 S is one of my favorite video's and this one as well . There's such a strong case for just getting a 911 and be done with it . It seems to offer so much with little compromise . Big manual fan but the PDK seems magic . That last 500 RPM before it shifted out of 5th was sweet , it was singing .
This car only has 385 HP and reaches 290+ GPS km/h, I've seen other cars here with 500+ HP struggling to reach 250 or 270 km/h. Definitely Porsche's HP are different HP from other manufacturers 😂
Something people seem to misunderstand about the 911 is that it is NOT like a BMW 5 which can be anything from a 2.0 diesel to a lambo killer. The 911 will always even in the most basic trim be a seriously fast and sporty car which also justifies a hefty price
Porsche 911 is my dream car for as long as I can remember ... I had a hotwheel toy of it and it was my favorite to play with and it was yellow ... I had classic muscle cars as well and some other hotwheels. All of which my dad bought for me when I was a little boy ... now I'm in my 40s and my dad is gone ... time waits for nobody 💔

I think the power displays the performance very good. RS3 with more torque and Power got a 9,8s, A45 with less torque, smaller engine and more power got a 9,7. Considering the lower drag and the high torque figures of that 3l engine, it is a accurate. I'm impressed that my Tesla Model 3 can hold up to a Porsche 911 until 200 km/h without a problem, the best car for 45k used!

I always thought I had to get at least a 4S to enjoy a 911 until I owned a turbo, yes they are extremely fast and fun but they cost too much and it's hard to enjoy such a fast vehicle out of the track, the base model is definitely the way to go as a daily
imagine driving 300+ kmh in the right lane and putting your blinkers to switch to the left lane, you never know if a Bugatti is going to appear in your mirror doing 400 and pass you like you were stopped 😂😂😂... btw it's kinda weird that those unlimited Autobahn portions are only 2x2lanes when so many 60-70mph us freeways have 4+ lanes doesn't leave a lot of room when you have trucks and people passing them at 130kmh.. if us drivers just would just use the right lane and stop driving in grapes, all at the same cruise control speed and using all lanes, driving would be nicer

Have to vote for the S. Just an M-engineering tune added is good to get it to 600hp. With the lighter weight it’s fast af for 100k less than the turbo S. We daily a new to us, 2020 c4s cab in Miami blue and it’s definitely gonna get the stg1 tune!! Can’t wait 😛

Almost a 20 kilometers gap between the odometer and the GPS, I think this is one of biggest gap I have ever seen

9.77 is slow. A stock M4 from 2014 can do it faster than that. And you can get them for £28k lol. Stage 1 will do it in 7s.
