The Tourette Syndrome Association had an initial panic when they heard of this episode, but afterwards, they released a statement saying it was surprisingly well-researched and actually had a lot of accurate information. Their main issue was the focus on the involuntary swearing, which most with Tourette's don't have.
The Tourette Syndrome Association (now Tourette Association of America) actually praised the show and writers for how accurately they portrayed Tourettes and for spreading awareness of the disorder
What's really messed up is that if you watch the season 2 episode "Merry Christmas Charlie Manson" you actually get to meet a lot of Cartman's extended family in Nebraska (including a bunch of cousins), and if the cousin that Eric claimed to touch weiners with is the one I'm thinking of, he was only about 2-4 years old at the time!
The funniest part about all the bad guys offing themselves is that earlier in the episode Hansen implied that he actually faked that the first guy did it, actually offing him himself... And instead it turns out that it's actually their default response, so all that menace was for nothing XD
Its also kind of meta because Cartman says he finally gets to go on National Television and say whatever he wants, and South Park was able to get past network censors by having kids who have tourettes curse in the show and it not be bleeped out
Assistant DA Bill Conradt offed himself on november 5, 2006. last two episodes of south park season 10 were aired on november 8 and 15, 2006. i think the SP creators kind of put this incident on their shelf until the season 11. then they included that in this episode that was aired on october 3, 2007.
This won't be the first time for Cartman on trying to blast the Jewish people on television, should check out the Crippled Summer. It's a Jimmy, Timmy, and Towlie episode.
This episode is yet another example proving that Cartman's worst enemy is his own lack of impulse control. Always has been. He could have had a good laugh for a couple of days, but he decided to be extra when he thought he was untouchable. This is just like when he ran his mouth one too many times to Wendy, but like clockwork, Cartman didn't know when to stop.
It felt like Matt and Tray Wanted us to also hate chris hansen😮 Yeah..... no, i'm not gonna hate the guy. He's helping catch these freaks even if you feel he's doing it for his own gratification. If they feel Chris is a douche, okay Whatever, that douche is helping catch these pedophile. And therefore I will always be on his side👍
Believe it or not, there was recently a number of young women on TikTok who were discovered to have been faking Tourettes for months. The Tourettes Association of America called this episode "surprisingly well researched", and one Tourettes sufferer in particular called it "the most worthwhile piece of media ever made about having Tourette Syndrome." However, Sweet Anita, a popular Twitcher, UA-camr and TikToker who suffers from a severe form of Tourettes, has said she wishes people would stop treating this episode as if it was a documentary.
The guy who shot himself was a county politician. He never showed up to the sting, but Texas State Law says it is illegal to solicitated sex from a minor, so the online conversations was enough to arrest him if they could trace back who it was. They did and law enforcement showed up to his house, and the TV crew filmed from a distance. He never came to the door, but a gun shot was eventually heard form inside.
Before I fall asleep. I always say the first word that comes to my mind. Sometimes it helps me realize that there are problems that I should pay more attention to.
Or maybe look for some of the teaser promos that sometimes feature clips that are different from the episode or even never show up in the actual episode

Please react to the episode "Proper condom use". 🙏🏼
Yu guys ever watched boondocks ?
"he learned nothing yet again" that is the perfect summation of the character of Eric Cartman.
The Tourette Syndrome Association had an initial panic when they heard of this episode, but afterwards, they released a statement saying it was surprisingly well-researched and actually had a lot of accurate information. Yeah when I first saw this episode I was surprised at how well it was handled
This.
Him singing the golden ticket song when he finds out about tourettes is one of my favorite moments of the show…makes me laugh everytime😂🤣
If Craig was noticed more in the show I would be soooo happy
The Tourette Syndrome Association (now Tourette Association of America) actually praised the show and writers for how accurately they portrayed Tourettes and for spreading awareness of the disorder
Craig being happy makes me happy
Same dude, he's my son
sooooo happy
"There aren't really brownies" That line just kills me.
One of my friends group favorite lines from South Park to quote 😂
I have Tourette’s and I approve this episode lol 😂🤣😈
Prove you do.

Some good episodes especially margaritaville I highly recommend it.
You guys need to know who Craig is, he is the most underrated characters
A good arc for them might be
2x17 Gnomes
3x5 Tweek vs Craig
12x10 Pandemic
12x11 Pandemic 2: The Startling
16x7 Cartman Finds Love
19x6 Tweek X Craig
Craig flipping off Mr Mackey right in front of his face and denying it always make me laugh! 😂
“There aren’t really brownies!” makes me laugh out loud every time, and I’ve seen this episode countless times
00:41 ~ Did Kacee just snort? Sounded adorable as heck. hahaha
A mini-snort, and yes it was totally awesome.
This is like the first episode where Craig seems kinda happy
Grey dawn is a great episode. The old people drive and its treated like a zombie apocalypse
Leave it to Cartman to get a stupid idea 💡

Yes! Keep these South Park reactions coming Dos Cavazos!
Oooh, another South Park episode! I think I’ll have a seat right over here.
Its also kind of meta because Cartman says he finally gets to go on National Television and say whatever he wants, and South Park was able to get past network censors by having kids who have tourettes curse in the show and it not be bleeped out
Thank you so much for watching this one ! It’s in my top five favorite episodes 🙌🏾😭
I have Tourette’s and this is one of my favorite episodes 😂.
Chris Hanson actually praised this ep and his kid watched sit with his friends and he was the "cool dad" afterwards
It's really nice that you're able to say "South Park" in the intro consistently.
Craig is the best! You need to watch tweek vs craig (and tweek x craig) and the season 12 pandemic episodes!
And then Put It Down!
South Park got a lot of good responses from charities for explaining Tourette’s so well in this episode
Worldwide recorder concert, Chefs chocolate salty balls., You guys should do the very first season that way.You can see the progression
Two great episodes where cartman gets his own medicine:
Cartmanland
Christian Rock Hard
Just for you guys, and to keep the South Park reactions going, I’m willing to watch the ads without skipping 😤😤
3:35 lmao I see that cut not showing then laughing at all the kids tourettes symptoms
You guys always crack me up. And you two are the perfect couple compliments each other well

You should check out the episode Ass Burgers. Yes, it concerns Cartman, and yes, it is pretty much exactly what you'd expect.

You’ve got to watch the film. It’s one of the greatest musicals of all time.

Crippled Summer (S14 E05, I think) would help you get your Jimmy / Timmy fix, although it is one of the more serious episodes.
A classic, many of the kids I knew learned about tourettes from this episode
The guy who shot himself was a county politician. Careful chris hansen, cartman is still a warrior
Cartman didn't get tourettes, he lost his filter.
pandemic and pandemic part 2 are a hilarious cloverfield spoof
I've been waiting for this!
you made the return of the fellowship thanks
you are great
I don't see why Cartman should 'learn a lesson', he is who he is. Just like the other kids, they rarely 'learn' a lesson and become better people.
Why do you keep reading the synopsis before episodes. Just go into it blind, it’s more entertaining!
Or maybe look for some of the teaser promos that sometimes feature clips that are different from the episode or even never show up in the actual episode
This episode reminds me of a UA-cam channel called Tourettes Guy.
Watch the south park 1999 movie "bigger longer and uncut"
Friggin hilarious 😂😂
Hopefully you react to Tweek x Craig soon.
"NO BROWNIES!"
I only remember the NO BROWNIES part of this episode
Yes my favorite episode ever
Missed opportunity for an election themed episode.
Craig is already gay in this episode
He definitely had a crush on Thomas before Tweek haha
butterballs is a really good butters episode. he gets bullied by a family member

I'm French and just so you know, it should actually be spelled "La petite tourette"

Probably spelled wrong to emphasize the T-I-T in la peTit.

His laugh is so annoying.
South Park fudges a fair bit on representation, but they are always *far* ahead of the curve with disability.
Day 218 of asking you guys, or just you Kacee, to see Top Gun. 🫡
