So I always had this working theory, that in the later movies Cyborg, and Superman would also have visions of the Knightmare Future, and Wonder Woman has visions of being the Goddess of War, and ultimately killing Evil Superman. Martian Manhunter would be the one to deduce that it’s not visions of a future to come, but rather memories from a forgotten timeline, we’re Darkseid won, and the timeline they’re in is their do-over, but certain things are still lining up to lead them to the dark future, until when Barry comes back and instead lets the team know Lois is the key to Superman’s future, and that’s when they prevent that timeline from happening.

Hopes are too high Aquaman and Wonder Woman were going to be killed by superman early on. Superman was going to be corrupted by darksied cuz he killed Lois lane that was pregnant with batmans child and then flash goes back to tell Batman Lois is the key resulting in Batman going in front of the beams to kill Lois because he only wants to save her if she’s pregnant with his child 😂.
The child then was going to be told when he was 18 that his dad was Batman and superman was going to make him the new batman 😂

The Knightmare idea is probably one of the most unique visions from Zach Snyder. Its so cool that we got to see hints of it from BVS and see Flash going back in time to prevent the timeline. Then in 2022 or 2024 see why he went back in time. Its things like this that make Zach Snyder a very controversial director, his filmmaking is brilliant if you know his works. But can be completely bad and misunderstood if your not aware of his projects.
Lmao!! He just ripped off the Injustice storyline and changed a few things. It’s mind blowing how much Zack Snyder got you sucking him dry
@Gouken.07 the injustice story line was because joker killed Lois, Robin killed nightwing, joker blew up metropolis, Darkseid isn't even a key player. To say it's the injustice storyline adds go the overall case that your a comic book moron

@@Gouken.07 Nah ur actually slow in comic books or smth. Joker kills lois in Injustice, Batman defends Joker. The story ends with Green arrow, shazam and others dead. And superman imprisoned in the negative zone. How is this the same as, Darkseid and his army attack the Justice League. Deathstroke, Lex Luthor and others attack Justice League. Lois dies. Superman gets anti-life equation. Flash time travels and resets timeline.

This was amazing. Sad you couldnt use the Joker sequence because of WB.
If you ever attempt this again, try using the Dr. Fate footage from Black Adam as well. When Dr. Fate reveals to Hawkman that he saw the end of the world, and then they reveal the vision in a quick flash and we see a very Knightmarish world. Dr Fate describes the vision as "something darker", the same words Batfleck used when he described the Knightmare Flash visit to Diana in The Snyder Cut.

Very excellent editing, I am perlexed on how Movie studios can't or won't realize that if they made movies true to the characters that us fanboys read as kids, they wouldnt need gimmicks to sell a fresh take, Zack Snyder knew this and yet all DC AND Marvel cant see this, hopefully some board of directors will give Zakk the Keys again
It all makes complete sense now, There was never going to be a good ending, I get it all..
Barry warned Bruce about all this, I am beginning to think I was right, the Knightmare isn't a vision or a atlernative timeline, IT IS THE FUTURE.... Darkseid wins.... chaos is unleashed. Flash gets sent back in time so many times to try it again and again till they win.

The current DCU is a living ‘Knightmare’ right now. The executives have destroyed the possibilities of what could have been with the Snyderverse. By the time they figure it out, the will be working there way out of bankruptcy.
Zack had so many great ideas, its a shame well never get to see them.

this is phenomenal work. Do not get me wrong. However we really are being robbed of an artistic masterpiece. Green lantern. Lex luthor returning. Darkseid vs. Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman vs. Corrupted Superman. There wouldve been such scenes that rivaled every scene previously shown. In one of the script notes it states green lantern informs the surviving members of the league in this timeline that while darkseid is paving his way across the universe, the stars from the big dipper have been destroyed. Could you imagine the scale of storytelling and cinematography?? It wouldve made Infinity war look like a small skirmish based battle. What we have so far is just a firecracker compared to the bomb that was about to go off.
We were supposed to have the biggest event in cinema history.

Maybe they just needed to make this Knightmare story without trying to fight the Avengers or pander to studio execs.
The whole point of a Knightmare is that Batman could kill and Superman could be his darkest ever. It would have been something different with a little better control on plot holes and a more cohesive overall arc. Sad to see such wasted talent. Batfleck was certainly the best overall choice with his actual physicality and overall decades of experience.
And amidst all this we lost an innocent young girl in Zack's daughter.
A tragic loss on multiple levels.

@@rzn2258 I would wait until something like a trailer releases before saying this universe will be all sunshine and happy. I liked how Snyder did the DC movies but he is not a good writer, i prefer James gunn as a writer, i also saw the original plans and scripts for the knightmare movie turnt into a comic and it was very inconsistent and pretty bad, forgot where i saw it tho.
