The wheel mounted systems seems to be the least evasive to use, I was not as impressed with the disk brake mounted system . Not all bikes have disk brakes but all bikes do have wheels. Though one could go all out and either just buy an e-bike or use an e-bike conversion kit for your bike. The pricing of these would equate to a nice conversion kit and battery. The range is probably accurate judging by the weight but there is a lot of power and speed loss with friction kits.
