The red Labbat's that David picked was actually our 96/98 shirt, 97/98 had Pinnacle instead of Labbat's though. We got relegated relegated in it in 96/97 then won division 1 in 97/98.
The red Labbat's Dave picked was our 94/96 shirt where we finished 3rd in 94/95 then made it to the UEFA cup quarter final in 95/96
You're right - I bundle those 2 together. That 94/95 season was special that's for sure.
I should have stuck with that one.... damn that recency bias.

has to be the Trevor Francis 1979 red Adidas shirt ✌
Red, white pinstripe - Shipstones 92-94. Maybe not the absolute best, but my favourite and I still have my original from when I was 11..... And more importantly, it still fits!!!

The mid to late 90’s home kits with black were awful. We only remember them fondly because of the good team we had in 94/95
1. 79/80 adidas red, 2. 79/80 adidas all yellow away kit, 3. blue and green labatts.
