  • This "Where God Weeps" episode speaks about a growing crisis in Ethiopia, the large number of refugees, who fled Ethiopia’s neighbouring countries South Sudan, Eritrea and Somalia. The Gambella refugee camp is one of the largest in Ethiopia - located just 50 kilometres from the South Sudanese border and shelters over 200 000 refugees from South Sudan. Mark von Riedemann interviews Father Tesfaya Petros, a Catholic priest and the vicar-general of the diocese of Gambella, Ethiopia, who visits the Gambella camp almost every day and tries to bring consolation and pastoral care to the refugees.
