Even as a child I´ve felt a deep connection, even a longing, for the indigenous ways of living: their living with nature, having that deep connection to it, honoring and preserving it. There is so much we, the so called "civilized" world, could learn from them, if only we were willing.
Especially that weaving is so utterly amazing and beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this.
And my heart-felt apologies for everything that has been and unfortunately still is being done to you and your ways of living. Thank you for keeping your wisdom alive - and that you are willing to share it - inspite of all the hardship.

Its because u feel it in your being and u are connected to all things and if the world is hurting we are hurting. I think our teachings are so important and it isnt just to benefit Indigenous Ppl its away to benefit all nations and all beings.

Dang straight. I found this huge oak that had a disease. It looks like a ent from Lord of rings with its arm up waving an a crown of wood. I felt the source God there an now use it daily to commune with the mother, Sophia/Gaia etc. Twice a yr it gets covered in hundreds of mushrooms . One are so bright orange that you can see it from hundreds of yards away! I work for the landowner an offered to work for a week for free if he'd never cut her down. He just laughed at me 😅. The green man is such a rich lore history. Is that why you are named that? Or is it green buddies 😅? Stay free an healthy friend in forest.

If they could bottle the air, they would take it, trust me. As a New Zealander, our reconciliation process is farrrrr from perfect, but at least the past is acknowledged and processes for equity are ongoing. Don't take any shit from governments, and educating the general public about the true extent of your losses is the best way to get them on your side. It can happen; in my lifetime, the change in attitude toward Maori culture and the treaty process has been huge, and positive. Kicking back is the only way to recover your due. Don't wait for anyone to give you permission.

Thank you so much! I really enjoyed the show. My husband’s mother’s family is from CA. Her dad’s side was Native American. I hope that our country will start to teach more of the knowledge you have past down. The basketry, clothing, wood carving are all talents that need to be taught to future generations of Americans and people of the world. There needs to be classes taught in all states. All tribes should share their history, way of life, the skills unique to them.

Thank you very much for posting this series for all to see. It saddens me to see how few views most all of these in this series has recieved. Especially after 5 years. They have been beautifully put together and yield much wisdom and knowledge. It is my hopes that we all one day wake up as a collective people to save what little is left. The cynic in me says that is unlikely, time will tell I suppose. Too busy chasing fools gold. Anyways, I digress. Many many thanks, I really appreciate all the hard work that went into making and distributing this work. Take care

The challenge lies in the perception among some Indigenous communities that non-Indigenous individuals are separate from their own, which can lead to a lack of shared knowledge and values. The profound understanding, innovative ideas, and deep respect that native peoples hold for the land often remain uncommunicated to those outside their communities. Consequently, large segments of the population may lack awareness or appreciation for these natural environments. This disconnect can result in the pollution and destruction of these lands-affecting not only the areas inhabited by non-Indigenous people but also the ancestral territories of Indigenous communities.

I've a humangas cider tree and at the worst times in my life i used it to throw knives and darts but a acient native American spriutal begin came into my house and and seeing this made me realized my INGRONCE was his purpose. I've a small amount of native American in me but I'm a old 4th and 12th cavalry but the native American was humble in trusting a spriutal animal to guide them and trusting thier grandparents more than acient scribes.of scripture .they didn't make the 7 wonders but every thing was made by their own hands and not command by others

I want to say from my innermost spirit that I have the upmost respect and honor for all native americans and native cultures and your gift of natural and historical stewardry of all elements of our earth. The truth is, I am "white", I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, in Northern California, in an area which once was inhabited by thousands of Maidu peoples, which were systematically outnumbered by white men, who's greed and lust for power and gold made war and genicide. Whos lies and force of violence all but inhialated the natural people of the land. I have felt the ancestral grieving and the cries.
I am grateful for you. Thank You from my heart. Roxann P.

I fertilize them with my good food scraps. It's disgusting what our governments an drone people citizens do to them. Only modern man is so ignorant an wasteful to damage the things that make life possible. Taking for granted isbthe modern way. We are in the age of apathy, but it can be the age of return. Return to thw old ways. Much love an respect to anyone who seeks harmony with our mother. 💚🌿

My heart breaks because tomorrow, Monday, May 6th 2019 Seattle's going to destroy 5300 + trees that are lined along the I-5 freeway and have been there longer than most of us were alive , in order to make way for the light rail. The trucks are lined up at this moment. The death of all these magnificent trees and they're blessed inner spirits all the animals and Wildlife the Eagles the babies in the nests, the eco-systems, the insects and every part that has lived for so long among these trees are going to be destroyed tomorrow. They have written their papers that they will make a profit off the Trees. And all I can do is hear the cries of these Majestic and Magnificent Trees with their Own Souls their Own Ways of Connecting to One Another.... they are intending to do this all the way up to Bellingham which will mean the future death of Millions of Trees... this is not progress, this is destruction!

We all have a purpose and responsibility. All of us must at one time or another meet and convince the lost through Arrogance and safe him or herself from the Law of life that what you do to others and Mother Earth and her living beings, you experience to yourself in the Afterlife and future lifetimes. Thus, please do not repeat the errors taught you but teach the unteachable about a relationship with Mother Earth.
