I have not found myself so misty-eyed in quite some time.
Spread the good word brothers and sisters.

Watching this makes me not feel so home sick of Pacific Northwest especially the water ways. I'm learning the beauty of that New Mexico land. I grew up with a profound respect for Pacific northwest Native American Tribes 👏 ❤😢😊❤

The adversity these people have faced is so unfair and sad. I resent so much of what America does.

I live in Seattle, but I'm from California. When I came to this place, I learned more about native American culture than I ever had. The Native People here are Beautiful people. Proud People. Loving and Helpful People. They even call the older Mexicans Aunty & Uncle. I'm not Native American, but I know that they're my friends and no native American will be hurt or victimized around me.

From Texas and then PA grown. Family native to Tillamook (CTGRO now) Have always and still do sense this call home even though I've never been there. I genuinely hope to come home one day and build our place in this world that isn't just brushed aside or taken as a gimmick.

Hope you make it here! At present Tillamook is just one expansive cow field that smells as such with a cheese factory. I mourn the lost cultures of the the NW coast, The uncut forests and wildlife that will take thousands of years to heal.

Great video! It happened, and still does, all around the world. Our Sami` people experienced something similar.

Would AMNH consider putting the information from the multimedia kiosks of the Northwest Coast Hall onto your website? There's of course nothing like being there and being able to look at the objects in person, but there's so much information in the kiosks it would take hours just to go through them, much less the rest of the hall. It would be great to be able to look at those kiosks before or after a visit.

Growing up near Seattle, I always valued native wisdom for the land over the white civilization treatment of the land, resources, people, and culture. My "white" eyes pine for the beauty of the native people and my ears for their wisdom.

I'm a white South African and my heart aches because of what white people did to Africans. Watching this is so sad because we didn't do much good anywhere. Keep your pride and love of the land. 🌻🌾

I believe that everyone is tied to the land. The Indigenous people are completely aware of this . I hope my white brothers become aware as well.
We all need to understand the reality of our existence!
The Europeans were Christianized so long ago that by the time we got here we were spirituality lost!
The same system that violated you violated us thousands of years before they did you.
I am totally broken hearted about the horror.
The truth is that the people who enslaved all of us .Are actually a very small group of people.
A complete revolt against, and refusal to ever use money again would make money worthless. Then the Oligarchs would be powerless. Because money is their power.
I am learning Sacred Instruction. I have read enough to know how beautiful the Turtle Island Indigenous really are.
I think your day in the sun is about to happen. At least it's what I believe the bulk of Humanity wants.
    Love ,peace, and Happiness!

"Would I be wrong to say I that I feel I was proselytized?"
That is xi60 phonetic. I invented that for me. I suppose that I am a "nomad" and appear Caucasian. Well, when I was 11 I went from Oregon to Washington on a school trip to see Chief Lelooska's house.
I liked everything. I still do, like everything about Coastal Natives. Do you want to adopt an old baby? I'm 49. I believe in a Creator - is that important?
