As of 4/15/2024 Blizzard has nerfed this stating on their forums that Righteous Orb will no longer drop during Phase 3 of Season of Discovery.

It depends on how high the armor in ST is. When we know this value we can better asses if IEA over Homunc is actually a big or only a very minor gain.
Info: she respawns at stratholme 2m30s after the bodyguards despawn. The bodyguards only move while observed, I think (maybe not), so eagle eye/mind vision helps)

As a MM hunter my first one just dropped right now after 3 attempts, so they deffo in the game, i had 0 issues soloing with splitpulling.

I once looted a righteous orb off a mob during the escort of the “In Dreams” quest. Dont remember the mobs name, didn’t seem important at the time. Hope this helps.
Yeah the Crimson Elites! Unfortunately that quest requires level 52 to start the quest, so it's a no-go in Phase 3 Season of Discovery with level cap of 50.
I farmed AD rep to honored for the strongest level antivenom bandage for ST....it didnt remove any poisons from ST. I killed courier once, the orb seems like an old wives tail. If you search "righteous orb" she doesnt show as a mob that can drop it. If you search "crimson courier" her loot table shows a righteous orb though. Seems like a data issue. I wonder how WoWhead gets its figures. I seem to find inconsistent data there. Ookthar - Orc Hunter - Crusader Strike

Arcanite Dragonling is about the same level of sweat, possibly more. Mobs are more plentiful and the drop rate is also 2%, but the fun doesn't end when you get the recipe.
So crusader is doable.. wow thats gonna be interesting
