I never imagined I would find a clip on youtube showing a local neighborhood in Japan that I know really well! What a fun time I had going on this urban bicycle adventure with you. I especially enjoyed touring through your residential neighborhood and surrounding shopping an restaurant district. A place we normally don't get to experience when visiting Tokyo. And yes, I would really love seeing more bicycle tours in Tokyo! Thanks for another great time!

He is such a great person in doing lovely videos , I appreciate so much all the details that he shows and even explain in his subtitles in English and that makes me enjoy even more those whole details and understand what things are. Love watching this channel.
The perfect advertisement strategy. Unironically more people would actually go to their restaurant or service or whatever if they had big juicy anime boobas in their advertisement lol.
What a great morning ride! I was constantly afraid that you would be hit by someone. This trip reminded me of when I lived in Taiwan many years ago. The surroundings were very similar. Thanks for taking us on this journey. Looking forward to watching other bike rides to other parts of the city.
Been watching ur vids for a couple of days now. I must say it is one of the most refreshing to me. I love how you don't actually narrate it. It makes the experience of watching it more natural like am actually there seeing the things you see. Keep it coming and thanks for these videos.
I must be getting too old because I have never been so tense in watching one of your videos. Hahahaha The go pro made me feel as though I was watching everything 3d. The train scared me and the pedestrians scared me. I was waiting for a car to pop out from some where. Your camera has a great quality of filming everything and it seemed closer and clearer than ever. I still enjoy seeing your neighborhood! Thank you for the bike ride I felt that I was literally on the bike with you!!! Hahaha Have a wonderful day!!!
Same…last trip to Japan in 2019 we had bikes available to use, in a Kyoto neighborhood…so we took them out which was so enjoyable but a little stressful too - we stuck to the quieter residential roads as we were not sure about riding on sidewalks and down the shopping streets. I live in Europe where we have strict cycling laws and a myriad of pathways (exclusive cycling lanes, shared sidewalk lanes, or shared with motorists) there are also areas where cycling is forbidden (city centers and shopping areas for example). I would so much love to learn about the laws or cycling etiquette in Japan. Love this film, miss Japan visits, I lived in Okinawa for 3 years, looking so forward to visiting again, probably in the cooler autumn months though. May I ask which mount you are using with the GoPro?
I am genuinely amazed that, first of all, it's legal to ride around in Japan with that sort of decal on a motorbike, and secondly, that UA-cam hasn't caught it and marked or removed it.
I'm weird, I'm a country girl at heart but like hearing the traffic. If we go somewhere and drive more than 30 minutes I fall asleep. Very soothing to me.
Very cool video seeing a particular neighborhood in Tokyo. I love seeing the neighborhood shops, watching the regular folk walking about, riding their bikes, examining the layout of the residential streets. It's like actually being in Tokyo from a local resident's perspective. Please make some more.
I like these bike rides but I personally would find it nerve-wracking trying to avoid pedestrians, bikes and cars. Please do bike rides along the Sumida River.
Do more of this please. I love the fact that we see the handle of the bicyle unlike the other pov videos out there. It makes it seem that we are the one driving it. And I dont know how you did with the camera or if its because you are driving the bike at a good pace because the ride was smooth and a viewer wont get dizzy at this video. It's quite relaxing to watch. Do more!
This is so...soothing. I stumbled upon your Shinkansen video. And your style of vlogging is exactly what I like. No background music. Just the natural ambient noise. This bike ride is really nice too. Thank you for making videos like this! Stay safe! ❤️
absolutely amazing how narrow some streets / alleys are and still cars can drive along them - I’m exhausted yet fascinated and anxious all rolled into one - yet you were doing the riding 2 1/2 yrs ago 😂🤣 thnx for taking us along
Great stuff! I love these POV videos. It's so relaxing and fun to watch. Like a nice ride through an area I may never get to visit personally. Kinda curious about the delivery bike(?) with the anime tiddies at 17:46-ish (WINK!). Seriously, I love these videos. Keep it up! Also, I agree with others that a ride through other areas (like parks, etc) would be awesome. Especially though next year's sakura season! Imagine riding through those beautiful petals! Love you guys! Have a great day!
At 8:43 - I think I've seen that narrow wedge of a building in an Architecture guide to the city a few years ago. At 6:45 it is interesting that trains passed in both directions simultaneously at that point exactly. At 4:52 isn't the convenience store on your RIGHT? The maneuver starting at 14:24 around the old lady and sudden right turn was the most gripping moment, nearly hitting the wall. 16:45 the shop with "EZ House" appears to be a renting agent or realtor, I wounder what the prices are like in this Koenji area. Interesting that the sign uses the English letter sounds to form an English word here. 17:36 one of the few westerners I was able to see during the trip. Yup, 17:47 we have the Mammers from Nyanners and as others pointed out, at least six. I counted 97 vending machines, (including those along side streets just visible) however a few may have been despising something other than food or drink. That averages at around 5 machines per minute - granted many were clumped together.
