Your videos are always such a treat! As a southern gardener I never thought about visiting Buffalo for a garden trip but we are now planning to visit this July!
Yes Jay, I too didn't think I needed a greenhouse till I saw this one. What a dream. Thank you for bringing all this beauty and inspiration to the world on your channel. Keep them coming. I hope to visit these gardens this summer. Garden vacations are the only ones I want to take now.
Such an interesting garden, Jay - it feels like a hybrid of a European formal garden and a relaxed American garden with an excellent protective border from the deer. The greenhouse entrance to the garden is wonderful and unique, and that cafe table!😍 - so many fun ideas and inspirations. Thank you for sharing yet another great garden!
Thank you! It is quite a special garden, it was the first time I visited gardens in this design, but I can understand the logic behind it, deer population here are getting out of control in upstate NY.
@@WhispersInTheGarden Same here in W PA regarding the deer. Part of my garden is fenced in but part is open to them, I've learned over the years what to plant that survives and often thrives.
I love the formal design with so many native species. I’m really just learning about the importance of native species in helping our declining insect and bird populations (thanks to Doug Tallamy), and am looking for ways to incorporate more of them in my own small garden. Kudos to this inspiring gardener!
Thank you so much for another wonderful video. I love every part of the video and how beautiful everything looked. Thanks so much for sharing it with us, my dear friend.
Love, love, love the color blocks. This is something that I’m trying to incorporate more in my own garden. For years, I put one of this and one of that, but the impact is much more superior with mass plantings. Great one, Jay.
I was wondering about that too. Are deer able to wander freely in some places in the us- why not fence the whole garden. In New Zealand they are a pest and shot, although some are farmed
@@suepercy8390I believe that in your country many of your pest animals were brought from other parts of the world. In New York State US the white-tailed deer are native and you can’t just kill them all. They fenced the part of the garden that they wanted to keep separate from the deer. Hope that helps.
@@suepercy8390Fencing the whole garden would be terribly expensive. In my state, at some times of the year, hunters are given licenses to shoot deer t reduce the population, but the state is very strict on who, where and when this hunting can take place. They also want to be careful in residential areas to avoid any accidents.
@@rosemama9995. I take 6 ft bamboo stakes and stick them in the ground at the outskirts of my garden then run 3 rows of fishing line around the whole thing. When the deer feel the line they are spooked. I also have “Daisy” s mannequin that sits in a garden chair near my flowers. Deer don’t like her.
The greenhouse looks like a Hartley ( my dream greenhouse).
This kind of garden is what I want. My garden is also being perfected. Looking forward to it.
The voice. The music. The garden. Beautifully mixed together with the passion of gardening.
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing. Stunning garden and beautifully narrated as well. ❤
Thank you! For some reason, your name Quail Hollow sounds very familiar!
My favorite part of the day is enjoying my breakfast while watching whispering garden videos❤️🥰thank you!🌻

Thank you. You would be most welcomed by the gardeners here! We love to have out of town visitors.
Love all the steel edging between the soil and gravel paths

Thanks Peggy. I think any true gardeners have to garden by trial and error, I am moving and changing plants in my garden all the time!
Beautiful!.
I am certain after the first round of Deer having Breakfast, this Gardener said, "Not any more"! :)

Yes, deer pressure is very high in upstate NY, I guess it is a solution out of necessity(for having a garden).

Beautiful garden! Thank you for sharing. I think it would have been better to watch without your commentary.
We come for his commentary 😊
