Awesome interview! Love hearing from the three of you together. I’m a newer Genesis fan. I’ve always casually liked Peter Gabriel and I remember listening to “so” on my dad’s fancy stereo system in the 80s but that was the extent of it. Since I plan to see him this year for the first (second & third) time I decided to do a deep dive on all things PG - including the Genesis catalog. You had asked if it’s music or nostalgia and I’m hear to advocate for it being the music. There are so many layers to the group and each time you listen to an album there’s something new to discover. It’s rarely a boring experience listening to a Genesis album. There are some solo misses (Tony desperately needed someone to hold him back but I love The Fugitive) but those albums are interesting to listen to in the context of the group. But love this interview. Thanks for all the content both current and to catch up on for a “new”-ish fan.
I'm so glad I found your channel, I didn't know of the Tabletop Genesis podcast! And yet I've searched many times for podcasts like this, but found only religious stuff :) So a big thank you for this interview! Maybe you know them but I can suggest you in return two great podcasts: Progressive Palaver and Sea Of Tranquility (on UA-cam).
I've been listening to Tabletop Genesis for years and never seen their faces. Weird! But their podcast is excellent (apart from the fact that they post new episodes so rarely. It's been a full month since the last one today.)
@@GenesisMan02 My god! No, Tom! I meant that it was weird to see what you look like after hearing your voices in my ears for so many years! You both look fine! Love your show. 😁
I love Tabletop Genesis! And I've really enjoyed this conversation, there was a very good connection to this podcast! Good to see more of Tom and Mike in video! I like that both podcasts share the respect for all the different opinions that us Genesis fans have.
Great mashup of the ultimate Phil Collins UA-cam fan site and my favorite Genesis podcasts. Also. good to see the faces behind Tabletop. Thanks for the discussion
Great episode and just subscribed to the channel. Came from Tabletop Genesis as a big fan. Also started with We Can't Dance when I was 10 and Way Of The World IS a great song! Actually working on a Genesis podcast with my brother called Me & Virgil. Will definitely be checking out more episodes!
Awesome video. I think it would be great to have you as a neighbor and talk Genesis all the time. Just to let you know for some reason I was again. I think it's the second time.
Thanks for watching everyone! Be sure to subscribe to the Tabletop Genesis Podcast: tabletopgenesis.com
This is the ultimate crossover of Genesis-Fans!
lol i thought that too! :)
“Liking” this post and I haven’t even listened yet. Big fan of Table Top Genesis.
Me too!!

Welcome, and hope you enjoy the podcast!
You do a great job of maintaining control while also letting your guests speak without interrupting
Thank you so much for saying that!!
