Caution I purchased this product today for my basement concrete floor i had drywall and mason dust I wanted to remove and it turned the areas that I cleaned RED had I known this I would never have purchased it.
Hey thanks! today I did some masonry work and tried to level my floor and get rid of a concrete lip in my room and I realize the vacuum quickly filled and was just spraying dust everywhere so much that I couldn’t see 6 Inches in front of me. Going to buy the stuff tomorrow and clean my vacuum and clean everything!!!!

We used to use this at the feed store I worked at in high school to keep dust down in building. I didn't know Zep makes it but want to get some for my barn feed room. Thanks for video.
Thank you!!! I just moved into a new home and the basement is dusty just like yours. I came from a home with the same issue. I dealt with it for 4 years....definitely not doing that again.
Great demo Bob!!! This cleanup compound really works. I recently used it on joint compound dust that accumulated on my hardwood floor - when performing a DYI project at home 🪜🧰
You made that look so easy to do, I'm going to do this to my dusty basement, my basement is not as big as yours only 900 square feet. This video was very helpful thank you so much.
I showed this to a friend who didn’t know about this product. You explained it very well except you didn’t mention that if you have any left in the bag you gotta get the air out and close the bag up.
Thank you for your video on using dusting compound to help get dust off floor. A basement floor is being prepped for epoxy rust oleum floor paint. What is the best method to get rid of out of rafters, walls, other vertical areas? Can dusting compound work in these areas also?
Hello.. Thank you for the video. Does this work for recently grinded concrete dust that has settled back on the floor? I have a thin layer of the dust that formed again after mopping. Cant seem to get it all up!
Will this work on recently poured outdoor concrete? We chose to go with color and the leftover powder is out of control. Our pool is a mess. I tried watering it but it never ends. I feel naive that I didn’t ask my contractor questions about cleanup.
Our basement was flooded 8 times so we have a lot of dirt from the muddy water that came inside. Would this help finally have our basement clean again? I’ve tried using hose and sweeper to push it into sump pump. Our basement is still extremely dirty.
This was very helpful Question .Ibhave a few broken tile which Ibwas told had asbestos underneath. Can I use this product because it has water which is needed when removing anything suspected to have particles in it. My basement is dusty and I just dont know where to start. I do have a push broom was going to wet floor slightly them remove or is this stuff better??
I knew there had to be a product like this but I went to Menards today and they were like "Huh?". I need something to keep the dust down when I sweep the bsmt floor with decades of creepy stuff like lead paint dust. This should be good, thanks.
soldier person if you would watch you might learn, it collects the dust and BINDS them to the compound, trust me on this I owned a janitorial service, this works best
Had no idea sweeping compound was a thing. Thanks for this. Saved me time and extra work.
Me either! Yess thank u! Woww

@@Josh-animemaniac yes I noticed a big difference.. no coughing from the dust.
@@mariaceaser2956 thank you! I have the same problem with sneezing, about to grab some of this on my way home from work
Thank you so much! My garage is so dirty.
This was helpful, thanks!
seems to me that this would be excellent to use on floor boards when replacing carpet. I am going to try it out on my attached garage this week.

There is so much!!! I got a 50lb bag and it's not enough!

I showed this to a friend who didn’t know about this product. You explained it very well except you didn’t mention that if you have any left in the bag you gotta get the air out and close the bag up.
We're glad we could help and that is a good tip to keep in mind. Thank you for your feedback!
How about getting the masonry dust off the walls and ceiling? :/
I have same question
Damp sponge?
yes please!
I can personally say DO NOT USE A SHOP VAC to clean up dust in an unfinished basement. I did and now I have wheezing in my lungs.

Will this help remove old peeling paint and moisture off basement floor?
will this work on a pitted garage concrete floor?

Does this work with drywall dust too

It will help you to clean up the last of the dust.

What kind of sheet do you have to cover the framing on the side walls of your basement
Sort of like when car mechanics throw saw dust on the oil stains in the shop. Will have to try, thanks!!!
Podría explicarlo en español, no entiendo el idioma inglés, gracias

2:41: Sore?
Will this work for removing glue residue from old flooring?
No it only helps attracting dust when you sweep it won't remove glue.
great vid. thank you
I used it every time i swept the warehouse. I had the cleanest work space in the co. (I don't know if it's the same brand though. waa!.)
good vid. can't believe you did not use mask.
That is one clean basement! Where is all your junk?
Next video should be "how to clean sweeping compound of the floor" this this is real pain to get it of the floor
Thank you for your feedback.
forgot the mask, but thanks for the video
I would have swept and mopped instead of purchasing DUST to spread around.
Issues is sometimes the dirt is too tough and stuck on the ground.
We have swept with gallons and gallons of water, but there is still dust. This is NOT dust that is purchased. You have not paid attention.
