@@antoinegeorge4287 to each their own. I get 5G service for a quarter of the cost I had before. And the slowdown you don’t notice unless you’re streaming 4K video. The majority of people use their phones as an MP3 player while they drive and the other amount of time they’re hooked up to wifi… for the stores and the 800 number portion, I honestly don’t think waiting 40 mins at a Verizon store for help or talking to someone from India on the phone is worth the extra in premium. That is what you pay for. The advertising and the retail stores are all figured into the service. $25 versus $85 minimum? Seems like easy math to me…. But you do you! ☺️
@@IanB1015 u do notice a difference specially when u are in a area where there a lot of Verizon customers use there phone u will see a big Depolarization and high ping times I don’t trust a company who don’t have any Physical stores are 1800 number I will stick with My Verizon plan I can Afford the Verizon service I don’t want no back down service I want the full Priority I get truly Unlimited uncapped data on Verizon
@@antoinegeorge4287 well if you think your data is 100% uncapped from throttling you might wanna be do some more research. I’ve got news for you bud, they ALL will throttle you at some point. All the carriers do it. Like I said before. To each their own. While you pay full price others including myself will be bringing in the savings. An extra $70 a month in the pocket is quite nice I must say.
Biggest downside of VISIBLE is three Customer Service. If you have any issue with actually getting your phone service started they will not talk with you on the phone. I recently purchased to use as my RV hotspot, I purchased my phone and SIM from them. The phone does not recognize the SIM. They have not solution for me, I have asked for a new SIM card as I don't care about the phone number and they have not been able to help.
Now looking for a new inexpensive hotspot option.

I had visible great service for 7 days then I had esim issues and no service for 4 days I finally ported out to us mobile and no problems 👍

I’ve had this as second device for over a year it’s been amazing no issues yet I’m sure service varies where one resides. I’m in a city area great speeds.
How noticable/frequent is the internet slowdown, including upload speeds? I use it all of the time and my mom needs it and the hotspot for work.
I try them but was on esim , not sure if that had any thing to do with it but was very slow, thanks keep up the good video's
#6 Visible doesn’t have domestic roaming. I’m probably being annoying saying this all the time, but I’m hoping people won’t make the mistake I did and port over only for no service. Porting back out was a bit of a pain too.
#7 they mess with the OS, deleting useful tools such as APN settings. they also screw with wifi settings too, ever since i stopped using Visible and just been using wifi (rather trying to) i have had nothing but issues.
its Xfinity my PS4, Smart TV, and brothers Gaming PC all connect at the correct speeds but not this device from Visible.

I'm coming on my one year with visible and pros, great phone service in my area, great price @ 25 per month can't be beat, Unlimited hotspot and data, and it's prepaid meaning no commitment.
Cons. Not many phones to choose from, not allowing to paid my bill ahead of time, and during network congestion speeds will slow down.
Honestly my take is visible is worth it. I had only prepaid service throughout my adult life and they all will slow you down when network is congested. With visible I actually get decent speeds and services where other don't. Also, there's no cap on high speed data or hotspot which I love. And finally the price of 25 per month is an outstanding value. Never have I seen a price so low.
@Carlos Brito: The problem with visible is that its redistricted to what smartphones it supports. Not that visible dose not have good smartphones just not the type of smartphones with niche features that remote workers need.
How often are networks congested?
@@StreetNickel That depends on the area you’re in and the time of day. Let’s say hypothetically you’re in a city with 200,000 Verizon main network customers, then subsidiaries slow their speeds a bit, but if you’re in a smaller area, you’ll experience normal speeds. Keep in mind, I’m only using 200,000 as an example

I really haven't had a single issue including travel.
I tried unsuccessfully to get a connected service with Visible for 5 days. The eSim downloads never worked, and it took 4 days to get the hard Sim. Still no connection. The chat representatives were very patient, but could do nothing. Got a connection with MintMobile in 30 minutes, no problem.
@tahitibob96, you are right the chat service representatives are still the same as you mentioned after a year from when you posted. They are patient but usually worthless.
@imfree62 I think you're exactly right. Visible CS reps have very little training. They are trained to be polite but in reality are not very helpful. Even if you get to the next level of CS it's the same story. Visible basically stole the phone that I traded in with them from me. If you have problems with Visible, it might not end well.
You may want to wait for Visible customer service to cook a little longer. It took them 3 days after I received the phone to finish porting a number from Google Voice. That speed is also a lot less than ATT pay-per.
Visible provides live chat option the small box in right bottom chat symbol . can use that to connect with agent ...sure the agent will help you ..
Thanks for this video! All fair points. The good thing is I think for most they won’t necessarily be a deal breaker. Dealing with visible customer service via their chat feature has always been a breeze for me personally, any time I’ve had a question. The biggest concern is the data throttling during network congestion. I think if you live in densely populated neighborhood/city this can lead to a bad experience with the service.
5 mbps really need to update it to 10 mbps.
I tried them and my cell service and data speeds were abysmal

I’m considering visible but I wish they would just let you buy three months six months 12 month plans instead of worrying about party pay plans in order to get discounts.
It's easy to join party plan. Visible gives you options and suggested party to join to get $25/month. You don't even need to find them.
So can this phone be used in another country or left in another country and used by their service in that country?
Also visible isn't available in all areas where Verizon has coverage. Rural areas with extended Verizon network are not available.

5G is weaker than LTE SO it requires a Stronger antenna and Lots of them.
...lt cost less to use 5G and it's faster but very low in distance..so more towers are needed to have TRUE-5G.
People think because they have a 5G phone it's getting 5G ..Not true (yet)!!

I've been trying to buy a new phone + plan through visible for weeks and even the customer service people haven't figured out why I can't do that. It usually says something is wrong with the payment and granted, there was a problem in the beginning, but I've done everything from using a different device, wifi, payment, incognito tab, and account and it still has not let me purchase. The only thing that the chat service person told me was that they have a team working on it and that they'd email me in the next week and they never have. Visible seems to be a great fit for me but I've been trying to purchase from them for like 6 hours in total and its impossible
No you can't talk to them on the phone customer support is chat or social media only. By the way nobody in the business has worse support than Visible. The deprioritization is very real with Visible worse than other Verizon providers. Visible sounds like a bargain but when you can't use it you find it really isn't. I gave it 6 months and that was way too long.
I’m better off staying with my Verizon get more plan with Truly unlimited

I think this is amazing for kids in college or young adults who want to save money. I am planning my on using this in college
I think it’s worth trying it’s just $25 I’m paying close to $100 and I still can’t talk or text internationally and it got congested often and hot spot is very bad so could go wrong? Cheers!😊
I use very little data under 1 GB a month and when I hit a de prioritized area it renders my phone useless to wear even navigation apps display no data and fail
My visible wireless blade x1 5g phone is a perfect tether for my PC. I can watch 1080p streams without buffering. $25/month and my neighbors don't have visible so there is no congestion here.
It's verizon's network
Everyone already knows that Verizon owns Visible. I really don't GAF about any other service. My Visible is working and it is only $25 a month. Nothing else matters.

Yeah, that's definitely awesome. I was just pointing out that your neighbors don't have to be visible customers to affect congestion on your network. They just need to be on any one of tbe list of providers using verizon's network, so you're likely to have plenty of neighbors sharing your network

It's been good for me so far. But occasionally I do get where my data doesn't load and have to do the airplane mode trick or restart my phone. Sometimes I can't make outgoing calls and another restart of my phone.f

You can just go to Xfinity mobile and get ultra wideband for like $20 more and you also get 20gb priority, and yes I know it’s capped to 1.5 mbps after 20gb. My personal use over 20gb I have never been slowed down I have gotten full speed LTE and 5G as I use about 40-45gb a month so it probably depends on where you live.
Only if you have other subscriptions to Xfinity’s other services. If you don’t you’re out of luck, a lot people don’t read that on the fine print.

I switched to Visible recently and I love it. These five things don't matter to me personally but they're all valid points to keep in mind. Also Sherri's the best!

The worst thing about Visible is that they don't readily support many phone models--even popular models like the S10 or S9 including plus models. Honestly, unless you want a whole lot of problems hunting for a used device with a compatible IMEI that's unlocked (which is always a question), then you're pretty much tied to buying the limited devices on their site. They are very committed to Apple, but Samsung not so much. You can buy certified refurb Apple devices, but if you want the older Samsung premium devices, you can forget it. You're going to have to spend probably at least $700-$1000 for the top-of-the-line Samsung device. This sucks for someone who prefers Android and superior technical specs. Of course you can always buy a cheaper budget device, but then things like NFC and wireless charging will likely be lacking due to Visible's extremely limited selection overall.
If you do go off script, just be prepared to be frustrated by incompatible phones, extended chat sessions with Visible Care (who can only do so much), unlocked phones that aren't unlocked, and be prepared to figure some things out for yourself.

Anyway, I'm not trying to use Visible as a hotspot, and I only use somewhere between 10-12 gigs of high speed data per month, so Spectrum Mobile at $29.99 per month is looking kind of good. I suspect that they have a much higher priority than Visible, and they support way more devices.

Trying to learn all I can. I called Verizon and an agent told me visible was part of Verizon and if I switched I would remain a Verizon customer. I talked to someone yesterday and was told that was not true. Anyone know the absolute truth?
you are definitely not a verzion customer after you switch to visible. they may own visible but they are completely separate.

Be aware for 25$ you will get 25$ service. Esim they do not how redownload esim. Phone number transfer a huge problem for them, because customer service in overseas. A lot phone interruption internet is always slow, but on speedtest is always fast. Nice good service fake provide

Some other reasons to use a different carrier than Visible:
(1) You do not need all the features they offer
(2) T-Mobile network may work well enough for you (While Visible uses Verizon network)
(3) Some other MVNO's offer some less expensive plans
(4) You do not need unlimited talk, text, data

In Europe we usually pay from 5€ to 20€ for very good plans. In Italy I pay 7,99€/8,20$ month for 120gb 4/5g internet, unlimited calls and text......I can even call US for free. People from US :"Oh, is only 50$ with 103020 limitations!!! So cheap and good!!"

I'm wrong. I had a problem with my hotspot. As soon as I chatted with Visible. It was fixed and working great. We don't have Wifi at home. Simply because of where we live. Hopefully getting something soon. Of course there is Hughes Net. No thank you. I use Visible for everything. I would recommend VISIBLE TO everyone. Cut the cord.

This chick is a hot mess of misinformation! Visible has international calling. In fact, they give you 500 free international calling minutes per month. 5G speeds are not capped. I SpeedTest in my area at 460megs. Visible gives you 50G of unslowed high speed data per month.

Visible has become a disgrace......the first 3 month were fine - 5 to 10 meg internet. Then all of a sudden my speeds dropped to 1/2 a meg. I spent days on the phone with their crummy customer service. Finally got to the upper level CS and they said it was the tower......Bull crap! My sister lives 25 yards to the left of my house and has Verizon. She get 60 meg internet speeds. Visible is throttling no matter what they say! I had great service for three months so the tower is not the problem.....they are lying! Do not trust Visible! They're doing the same thing Verizon used to do to me with my base package. They are throttling! You can call it deprioritizing if you want.....you'll be pissed either way!
Sprint used to do that to me when I was late paying the bill,,, I could tell they were playing games,,, also I could not talk on the phone and do internet search at the same time, Ever since TMobile took over I can do

Yes, they play games. They will throttle you, and be ready for hours with no phone service. They are great as a secondary number. But again, you might as well get US Mobile

All of your no-gos don't bother me. I don't even care about having 5G. I don't need it. If I had a 5G phone I'd turn it off. Although I have a background in computers and electronics I don't need a cellphone that do things faster than I can think them up. I just hope the cell service is not like Boost Mobile was when I tried it in 2019.🤮

There is a $40 plan that gets you more than the $30 plan does.
The only reason she's talking about the $30 plan is because she gets a kick back every time somebody clicks on her link cuz she's poor and she doesn't have the $45 plan which is just literally $15 extra.
