Watching this takes me back to my one Dead show with Jerry, June 1991 at Soldier Field. Mickey taking us all into the rain forests with him with "Space>Drums." Thank you for sharing this!
Space > Drums > Space > Playin in the Band > Banyan Tree > Playin Jam > The Wheel > Playin in the Band (reprise), St. Stephen > The Eleven > Lady with a Fan > Terrapin > Let It Grow E: Sugar Magnolia > Uncle John's Band > Box of Rain
Probably the closest anyone will come to actual Dead lineup. Fans at those early shows after Jerry were in for a real treat. Especially since Phil is looking like he's going to pass away soon. I pray not but it was one long strange trip indeed.
I was front row center for this show. I have tons of great pictures. Actually both days they played there. I have good story bout shrooms, me and Bobby the day before. I'll save that for another time. They promoted this as their reunion and last and final show together. Well we all know that didn't turn out to be true. We got suckered out bunch of ticket $ to get in cause we thought it would never happen again. Well, it was a great time, and im glad I experienced it. Priceless moment like all GD, Ratdog, JGB, Bob/Wassrman shows where. I haven't seen them since this show. Well I did go to a good 80+ Ratdog shows before and after this. Bobby is great!! Phil can't sing for crap, never could, and never should. I love him, but he should never go near a mic!!!! I'm sorry people, but really,?? I've went to Phil and friend shows, and can't make it for more than 3 songs before Id have to leave. His voice is so bad!! And to hear him try and sing a Jerry or Bobby song is a disgrace. Thanks for posting this video. Peace be with u all.
I was! What a show!!! I was late to the bus (my first Dead related show was PLQ at Alpine in '01, and I was already in my 40's. But the revelation/epiphany/mind shift I experienced then was real. I fell deep!
These guys crushed every night! I remember these concerts fondly, such a great time. Tremendous lineup. Thanks boys
The whole scene was awesome loved it,these shows still are in my rotation 20 years later
How the fuck have I not seen this before?!? These shows were so badass that summer. Thankfully though, I caught many 03’-04’ Dead dates.
God, this 2002 - 03 period of the Dead was just awesome. Every show was such a throw down!!!!
This is so good. Bobby is singing his lungs out on The Eleven and Sugar Mags…beautiful! Thanks for posting.

I was there, totally cool and blistering hot, Bob is so underrated
Jimmy Herring is such an incredible guitarist, really keeps things flowing!
This was/is absolutely terrific imo. I was unaware of their existence at the time...until the cd came out.
What a good time and great shows highlight for me was the double rainbow over Hunter's set
I knew things were going to get wild when that happened! (also might have been the mushrooms)
we were there
