@@thesmartfarm I agree about removing subtitles (and the very irritating highlighting of them!), makes me think I gonna' get epilepsy (I don't have epilepsy, I mean as if).
Sometimes I wonder who puts these videos together.
Here, you did not mention the single physical characteristic of the tomato that allows successful machine harvesting.
That is the 'hide' aka skin of these tomatoes.
The hide's on these fruit are the result Artificial Selection, aka selective plant breeding.
Artificial selection is the identification by humans of desirable traits in plants and animals, and the steps taken to enhance and perpetuate those traits in future generations. Artificial selection works the same way as natural selection, except that with natural selection it is nature, not human interference, that makes these decisions.
These fruits have hides you really do not want to try and eat: period.
