Excellent tutorials. Well explained and concise. Like someone else said three years ago, it’s difficult to see exactly what you are pointing to if not illuminated or zoomed in. I trust you have taken those pointers. I watch many tutorials from many sources, yours I have to say are the most comprehensive., at least for the mirage, which is all I’ve wanted to learn so far. KUDOS
Great videos man, very clear and to the point, just learning the mirage and this will help a lot as the in game tutorials are not very good, keep the videos coming!
Good job, thanks, the auto pilot is probably working as designed and the manual needs to be updated. As a pilot I've flown many aircraft and some of the 'quirks' you described are most likely designed into the system. For instance you want to make sure that the altitude hold is not engaged when set to zero or another unsafe altitude.
Again a great tutorial. That was very helpfull. I have a little proposals. When you show stuff, like the panel, it can be difficult to see, what you actually want to show. If you would highlight it whit the flashlight, it would help alot (Left alt + L)Cheers mate
I am aware this video was posted a while ago, but I have just acquired the Mirage & believe I have figured out the way to operate the Altitude Select. Not sure if this is how the real thing works but it behaves similar to other civilian aircrafts I've flown in Xplane and co. You will want to : #1 - Select your desired altitude #2 - Enable the autopilot and Altitude hold (will show as amber/yellow) #3 - Apply trim accordingly to the desired rate of climb/descent to your desired altitude #4 - Within 1000ft of the set altitude, the Altitude select button will change to 'green' & the aircraft will automatically stabilise with neutral trim once it reaches the correct altitude
Use pitch trim to get the alt select to kick in.
Didn't know about that, thanks! :)

Thanks a lot for the whole series of your tutorials... I learned many things which were difficult to understand when reading only the documents...

Thanks! Yeah both the in game tutorials and the included manual is a bit of a work in progress it feels.
