what i find is life is a continual pivot. Nothing works out exactly the way you've planned things for yourself. And, as you age, what you focus on, or want for yourself changes. With each change, is a pivot. Sometimes that pivot will be life driven (marriage, baby, divorce, new home, moving to a new town/city/state/country, change in health, etc) and sometimes the pivot will be work/career related (layoff, new job, etc). So whether you like it or not, we all will become pros at "pivoting" to some degree because we have to, to survive. As for imposter syndrome, can't speak to that much except to say, if you focus on yourself and your goals, hopefully you won't have the time to look at what anyone else is doing.

I literally felt like this when I went to a baby shower. I had a really bad case of imposter syndrome so much so that I was ready to leave. I stayed and after talking to my mom I realized that I was just in my own head

Andrea! Thank you for answering my question ❤. Thank you for unlocking something in me to recognize that we have to recognize barriers and attack “FEAR” false, evidence, appearing real which is that thing called imposter syndrome. You Rock.
