Inquisition is a black metal band formed in Cali, Colombia, in 1988, and later moved to the United States. The band is currently based in Seattle, Washington. Inquisition is primarily a duo consisting of vocalist and guitarist Dagon (Jason Weirbach) and drummer Incubus (Thomas Stevens). They are known for their distinctive style of black metal, characterized by relentless tremolo picking, haunting melodies, and Dagon's deep, guttural vocals. The lyrical themes often revolve around occultism, Satanism, and cosmic mysticism. Inquisition has released several acclaimed albums, including "Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult" (1998), "Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm" (2010), and "Bloodshed Across the Empyrean Altar Beyond the Celestial Zenith" (2016). Despite some controversies surrounding the band's imagery and alleged ties to extremist ideologies, Inquisition remains a significant presence in the black metal scene.

I think they are gonna start touring after they release their next album later this year. I'd love to see Inquisition live too, they are my favorite black metal band but I wasn't given a chance to see them yet :(

I was lucky to see em in 2014 right after Obscure verses was released in Bergen, Norway.. smaller venue, amaaaazing atmosphere and the crowd was perfect. Never forget that evening.. also got Dagon and Incubus to sign all my booklets with silver marker back then, haha. 🤘🏻

@@lukino666 "next album later this year"? Where did you get this? Edit: ok, did some digging myself. Dagon told Rauta in August that Inquisition were going to record a new album at the end of 2022 at a really cool studio. Maybe that means we can expect a new album this year, but who knows for sure? Did they hit the studio as planned?
