Very fun to mess around with. Bringing out the assassin's creed fantasy to life. Only intended as a functioning prop and nothing more.

Hi, due to the randomness of YT i ended here and cant be more gratefull for that, but I go to the link and see no version of the phantom blade with the bow mechanism... how did you find it?

@@saturnv688 That's up to the peeps at Rawicecreations. This was still being stocked and disappearing quick when i got mine. Whether they've moved on from this design or not. I do not know.

The fact that the bow mechanism actually works is the best part in my opinion since even the official one doesn’t actually shoot the arrows forward
Oh my god if I had that I would do nothing but use the blade because that’s so cool
It's an incredibly satisfying mechanism.
I'd do the same thing, but knowing myself, it'd get stale after 2 hours - 2 weeks of playing around with it.

Looks like it works very well! I'd personally only make the blade itself as I never played any of the games featuring the bow part of the hidden blade. (Never got around to finishing Black Flag, sadge)
I'll definitely try to make one myself if I ever get a 3D Printer
The hidden bow was only in AC Unity and that was the only good thing in that game

It's amazing that this have a safety, I think the only thing lacking here is the blade's pressure, in the series, it was enough to penetrate flesh when yiu activate it.

I don't care much for the blade sections and all , but i'm terrible and devising small mechanisms , and i'm looking into making a collapsible crossbow like that that i could modify for various cosplays like a Monster Hunter World Slinger , and even Enfys Nest's wrist shields from Star Wars : Solo .

@@jjlq3028 just checked his page and it's completely empty, I've been trying to get a phantom blade for awhile and everyone just doesn't have them or wanna make them anymore
@@tristanconrad9918 Keep an eye out. I know for a fact they're making more. They do sell out fast but they will constantly be restocking.
I can see the hidden blade and crossbow but the function to shoot it work like the hidden gun
Funny you say that because RawiceCreations made a hidden (cap) gun. May throw up a demo of it.
How to make a diy version of this
1. Grab the ac4 hidden blade
2. Remove the brown backplate
3. Undo the top left spring
It will now fire the blade
Thats awesome. But i have no idea why you would want it on the inside arm. The outside arm is better in any given situation including last resort defensive blocking.
It's a video game prop. Keyword being 'video game'. Wouldnt take it to seriously outside of cool factor.

I have a feeling that tiny little dart won't do a whole lot of damage, just based on the east of how the string was drawn back
Because its a prop. Non intended to do damage. Off camera it doesnt fly far nor straight. Again not its intention beside to be a cool prop.
I’m sure if you made it more for an actual weapon and maybe a bit larger you could do a bit of damage….which is enough if you were to coat the tips of the bolts with something lethal…
@@michaelsharp8393 not an expert, but you'd either have to make the limbs much longer and more cumbersome or the string much tighter, so you wouldn't be able to pull it back with your hand. Also the limbs probably shouldn't be foldable because then they would be prone to breaking. Just throw a knife.
@@amoral_minority The more movable parts there are in something, the more likely it is to break. As for the rest of the comment you’re correct as far as I know. Which is why I stated that it would have to be a larger version (at least in some aspects).
Throwing knives are pretty fun and can get the job done if you have finesse. I would rather rely on the simplicity of a crossbow over throwing knives however as there is less of a chance of messing up.
I’ve thrown hatchets, knives, and 手裏剣で (shuriken). My favorite is the one I started out with and that would be shuriken due to the ease of throwing and forgetting due to the many points on them. They are also very lightweight and you can carry a lot of them with no struggle.
Coating the tips or points of any projectile or weapon will make it more lethal. Depending on what you use, you could get the job done in a scratch.

The bolts are not flying very far or straight.
see why can third party people create gems like this but the actual licenced hidden blades we have to push buttons to release the blade
