This song really pulls at my heart strings. No one has ever made a rap song like this up until this day. Side note. Tupac said he made this song because he saw the story in a newspaper. In the beginning the story was main page and he noticed that the article on the story of this girl got smaller by the day, so he decided to do a song. The interview of Tupac about his song should be on UA-cam

Oh ok. Sooooo glad u did. What’s ur opinion if it? Don’t u feel that it added to the message? PAC’s storytelling abilities were bar none!!! Including the soulfulness of the singers really made this a #1 record. People that are/were not rap fans still truly appreciate 2Pac for his amazing poetry and skillfully written lyrics. Strong messages r what’s missing in today’s hip hop (among a host of other things). Despite the few “hood/violent/ghetto” songs he released, u clearly see how much he cared for and wanted to improve our community. Amongst today’s hip hop fans, there’s a divide btwn “gangsta” and “woke” rappers. 2Pac effortlessly combined the two while maintaining the utmost respect from all. RIP 2Pac. 🙏🏽 🪦
