Beryl shifts Eastward, to bring 'dangerous' storm surge upon Texas landfall | LiveNOW from FOX

- Beryl remained a tropical storm Sunday as it's expected to make landfall in Texas as a Category 1 or Category 2 hurricane early Monday morning. The National Hurricane Center says the storm is forecast to bring dangerous storm surge, flash flooding, and strong winds to parts of the state. Dozens of counties are under a state disaster declaration and evacuation orders have been issued in areas like Corpus Christi and Galveston. Residents in Houston are being urged to stay off the roads after 10pm Central time.

on the hottest side of our house we put quilts over the windows it lowered the temperature by 5 to 8 degrees, i'm 68 and I remember old people doing this years ago with heavy wool blankets , cover the whole window top / bottom inside, . i didn't think it would work but it does. it totally even helps in the middle of really bad winters, it cut back on our heat bill in the winter time too..i know it sounds weird and dumb to some people but it does help a lot, you can create your own window quilt to help you , if like to decorate.

The eye appears to be predicted to go right over "The South Texas Project (nuclear) Electric Generating Station" at 2:15 AM, Cat-1, 85 mph sustained, most likely 95 peak gusts, along with 6-8 inches of rain directly on its cooling pond. Lets hope that all safeguards are in place.

Lol I was in Florida for that one hurricane where they issued evacuation. I stayed but the news guy in Texas (where my family lives) said something like “if you did not evacuate, great, your going to die”. Lmao good times!

So glad no one started yapping about climate change. first it was a new ice age, then global warming and we'll all be dead in 5-10 yrs now it's just climate change...... we could be dead from hypersonic nukes from Russia and china before we post our next comment. praying for Texas coastal communities families, businesses and for that storm to dissipate now in Jesus name.

Look into the UA-cam account called suspicious observers. He has a theory that the extreme weather is due to our earths cyclical event of the weakening magnetic field and the pole shift. He has a lot of evidence for it! It’s very interesting.
