Yeah but his style is so reckless. How long can you keep up the “take damage to give damage” routine? What’s really surprising is how few of his opponents try to take him down. If I were a corner I’d say, don’t get in a war, don’t give him the time to chop your legs, take him down and try to submit him.

Lost four fights ever.. khabib, olivera, poirier , alverez.. all absolute goats and legends of the game. That's why it shocked me how many people thought fiziev was gonna walk through him..NOBODY walks through gaethje... Both poirier and alverez we're beat all the way up.. on deaths doorstep when they found the shot... He sat olivera down 2-3 times .. even in the khabib fight , at least one judge gave him round 1.. Give this man his respect.. there's not many fightera out there with a true , kill or be killed mentality..

EVERYBODY tries to run backward, but he closes distance very fast. Make him run into the punch,, as soon as he dips his head, YOU MOVE FORWARD..!!!. ALSO,, khabib catches alot of people off of the break, when he goes for takedowns and misses., DO NOT LET GO AND BACK UP, hold onto his head and as soon as he goes to his feet, knees to the jaw. WHERE THE HEAD GOES THE BODY WILL FOLLOW.. . the path to beating khabib is to engage him, not back away.. I would try to push him to the corner, he cannot go back , he can only go at angles to the left and right, and he cannot throw that looping uppercut. you can also kick the legs with great effectiveness. hopefully TREVOR WHITMAN has observed this.!!! RUNNING FROM KHABIB PLAYS INTO HIS PLAN.. !! when khabib grabs the body lock from side or back, you must turn your torso facing his and throw knees to his body. and for shits sake, do not try a guillotine that is a trap. ! be watchful for the little distractions khabib does,, he turns his head and does this little thing like he is spitting something out of his mouth, but its just to distract.. thats how he clobbered connor.. when you connect and khabib opens his hand as if to say yes u hit me, but it doesnt hurt, this is another distraction,, khabib is playing mind games. khabib is amazing, but he can be beat..
