誕生日の朝にピッタリ。祝祭的気分で。鮮やかに描き出すように、あるいは彷彿とさせるように。言わずもがなの見事です。それにしてもベルリンフィルとの演奏が聴けるとは。
この当時、カラヤンは絶大な権力(オケにも理事会にも)を持っていたので、招聘する指揮者もカラヤン次第。
