      No, a break down is almost like a bridge part to help take out of the main part of the song and provide something to keep the listener interested. Like in old school funk or disco songs, how they would have traditional verse/chorus stuff but then have a break down part focusing on a cooler version of the best and some random riffs or like in tru school hip-hop doing random samples and scratching
