- This is our first day arriving in Langkawi, Malaysia. We stayed for a night at Gelam Inn Motel, which cost us 10 USD a night for 2 persons. The room is surprisingly really clean and reasonable for the price we paid. Nearby the motel, there are 2 main restaurants where we stopped by and get our first dinner in Langkawi. The food is also really cheap and delicious.

Good to see your Malaysian vlog. Malaysia is one of favorite countries of the world. People are generally nice, friendly and hospitable but it also has its share of bad people. Growth of the Malaysia is phenomenal, I first visited Malaysia with my kids in 1992, then in 2004 and within those few years, I witness the transformation of the Malaysia. During my first visit, when I landed at old KL airport, it was chaos, I was with my family with very young kids, my daughter was 7 and y son was 4, there was nothing on airport to facilitate tourist, I was looking for a hotel booking but there was no desk. Taxi drivers were harassing us but suddenly a local family who come to see off someone, ask us what is the issue. I requested the noble couple to help me to find a hotel. They invited us to their home, and drive us to their home in their car and offered us home stay without any money but I thanked them profusely and requested them for a hotel booking. The kindly wife of the house, find us a very fine hotel on a very good location on best rates and then offered us to give us lift to a lift to hotel but I insisted for a taxi and that beautiful couple obliged by booking a taxi for the hotel and followed us on telephone after we reached hotel. I cannot forget hospitality of that beautiful couple from Malaysia although we lost contact with them with the dust of time. I hope you may find same kind of persons in Malaysia.
Thats so amazing! I have noticed they all are super nice but i hvent seen hospitality like that anywhere other then the Philippines!I hope we find people like that to! The people are what make each trip so amazing!

People in M'sia are very friendly and respectful. There's a lot of cheap stuffs in M'sia specially food. Eat in Indian restaurant thier dishes are really spicy..

Search Batanes Island located in northern part of Luzon, and Pagupod white sand beach located in north Luzon also. And visit El Nido Palawan as well one of the nicest tourist destination in Philippines.

If you want to stay as a local, you should go to Kuah. Cost of living is pretty low over there. This is the place were the locals go on holiday. It is about 20 minutes from Pantai Cenang by car. Pantai Cenang is really the touristic place. Have fun in Langkawi!

Hey Zdrenko! There are many places that are really cheap in Langkawi! But night markets are the best!
guys you know this i presume but the geo thermal park in the mountains is 1 of the most amazing things you will see, period. i went there twice and lived it so much. with motorbike 40mins or so, amazing ride and then spend few hours in the clouds and the bridge is 6-700m above sealevel and super small, amazing!

One of my Malay friends once told me that slow internet is awesome! You get plenty of free time doing nothing, especially for large downloads or uploads. Malay people are usually very positive about time haha 😊 Jimmy when you said motel I was wondering, but that place actually looks fine. I haven't been to Thailand to compare, but Malay food is usually super spicy... Tah, maybe sometime you can briefly comment on how the food spice level compares between all the places you've been and Thailand? Enjoy your time!
Hey Rual ! We were freaked out ike crazy when we saw the upload speed haha, Surprisingly i think malasian dish is not spicy for me at all haha i always ask for extra chilli ( Jimmy said it is not spicy for him as well ) :D
