- In spite of rules set down by the church, it has not stopped people from seeing signs of the archangels or in some cases seeing them in dreams or even being spirited away to some other worldly plain. In short, people do really believe in archangels (despite the church’s warnings) and people do appear to experience the same kind of phenomena such as seeing certain colours, numbers or even hearing voices. In today’s episode then, we’ll be diving into this a little more and trying to understand what signs are associated with which archangel, what these signs mean and whether these signs have any correlation to the bible or apocryphal texts.

My mom passed away in June and I was making a run to the gas station for snacks for my younger siblings and as I was driving I was praying to God being thankful for the wonderful family I have. I started to break down in tears thanking him for the wonderful mother I've had the honor of knowing in this life but I wanted to tell her that I'm sorry that she didn't have the chance to fully see what her children will accomplish while she's gone... and when that happened, blue sparks started erupting in the seat next to me in the dead of night... In that moment I knew that she was still watching us as we move forward and I'm not sad anymore. Just grateful for everything.

In the OT the angel story that always stuck with me was when Joshua is about to enter Jericho. There is a man standing between the hebrews and the canaanites in shining armor with a sword raised above his head. Joshua goes up to him and is like "hey, are you on our side" and the man says "no, I'm not on anyone's side. I'm on God's side." eventually Joshua understands the man in shining armor is an angel and has his burning bush moment.

A 5 year old boy fell down a drained pool at a house Dec 25, 2014. The family was frantic & in shock, for the amount of blood & his screaming in pain. I'd like to thank Legends of History for all of their informative content about angels. I don't care who believes me; but I was a non-believer who saw an angel in the flesh. Those who say that angels can't be seen, or don't exist, should think again. I'm still puzzled by what I saw but this channel has helped me greatly in the process of coming to terms with my encounter. Replacing fear with knowledge was the only thing that kept me together in those initial years. For all that you have taught me, I am ever-grateful.

There was actually a movie treatment of Paradise Lost in preproduction in the early 2010's. Bradley Cooper was cast as Michael, had a budget of $150Mil. It was in preproduction, you can even find some concept art for it. Unfortunately it was canceled. Id recommend you check out the concept art that was made; pretty interesting if anything else.

Arch angel Jophiel was the angel given the task of punishment in casting Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden. I saw 2 angels with 1 face and helmet of 3 animal faces on each side. They had armor on like shoulder pads that had human faces in shock and horror designed in 3-4 to mid arm shoulder muscle. They had 6 wings 2 up 2 down 2across the belt area. They held spears and a dagger 🗡️ to the hip. I saw what looked like wheels of caskets that rolled out to this gate that they noticed me 1 looking down noticing me. In my head I knew I should go, but I didsnt. In my head I heard "the one you walked with with die in 3 days. My brother died 3 days later. I was 30 my brother MICHAEL was 29. Their ws much more but yeah. Wild and something I'll never forget. Everything was this gold bronze color. It was beautiful and it gave me comfort in a unbelievable untimely time.

Hopefully you never ask him to watch over you when you cross the street because the car that hits you is just another appliance he's "watching after". Man, I have been binging this channel for the last few days. I stumbled across it on Thanksgiving, while doing research for a story I’m writing. I love this kinda stuff in general, and you’re doing a incredible job! This is certainly one of the best channels I’ve found. Both fascinating and helpful to those of us that love stories in all forms. Thank you for putting in the work, it really shows.
I was going through a very difficult period in my life at the time of this dream. I had a dream that I was talking to a person and that person didn't feel right. I said in my dream to that person "You are not who you say you are." At that very moment, the human facade melted away and I was face-to-face with a demon. I started to physically fight the demon. The demon swiped me with its tail and I fell to the floor. Still fighting and struggling. I remember clearly in my mind screaming God, Jesus help me! At that moment a miniture statue that I had of Saint Michael (the dream took place in my house where I have a miniture statue of St. Michael on a table) grew into life-size human form. Jump between me and the demon. St. Michael grabbed the demon's head and with his sword decapitated the demon. The demon's head and body on the floor turn into tar and disappeared into the floor. St. Michael grabbed me by my arm and lifted me towards him and said to me "Ask and you shall receive. Call my name and I will be by your side." When I woke up, I was in awe.

I will always have an affinity towards Archangel Raphael. They protected me during an extremely traumatic (potentially life threatening) situation almost four years ago. Archangel Michael has visited me too. But Raphael is my "guardian angel", so to speak.

25 years ago when I was a teenager I had a lot of interesting experiences,, I mean they didn't start when I was a teenager but they definitely intensified, anyways one night I was having an exceptionally bad experience and the entire wall of my bedroom faded to the universe, and a blue purple flame came up and made all the other nonsense stop and told me that the strength was in me and that it's always been. I did not grow up religious I did not grow up agnostic I grew up with all the options in the world and an avid student of History but in that moment I knew that that blue purple flame was an angel,, and interestingly enough my father's name is Michael ( French)

I was dealing with a lot of negative energy in my home for the last few months since October and nothing i did seemed to remove it. Constant touching, things being moved etc. One sunday, I ended up was crying as reaching a breaking point and put my hands of my eyes.
I then felt two warm hands with strong vibrational energy held mine . Then a strong deep but gentle voice say" i have heard your cries . i am here for you and will protect you."
I looked up and saw a bright golden shining in through my window and a gust wind had blown through which repelled what is tormenting me.
Im still having issues with these bad energies in my space but every so often i would feel that warmth and tingling sensation on my right hand to remind me hes there.

I think so!! I think we've got many angels working on earth here right now trying to help us turn this world around & bring it back to Jesus.

I can say I have experienced most of the things that he's mentioning. But I don't know whether it's because I'm saved or I'm going through spiritual warfare.
But as soon as I got my job there's been so many people over the year that I've met with the name Michael or I've met that has the name Gabriel.
I've definitely seen the purple and blue light, and it's just like anytime you look up at the sky you can feel the angels in the sky. And it's so peaceful and it's so joyful but it's also really frightening.
I can relate, would love to hear more experiences if you don't mind sharing. I think it's spiritual warfare, we're doing something that the Nephilim do not like which is a good sign I suppose? I feel you though, I do feel protected by heavenly forces, but it also gets scary at times. Think back to David and Goliath. It wasn't the sling that killed the giant, it was David's faith in Yahweh. There are many manny different ranks of angel or (choirs). we have angels that never leave gods side who are shared knowledge other angels do not get simply because of the very fact THEY ARE NOT TRUSTED ENOUGH. The rank archangel just as important as it may be it is a very very small role compared to the other choirs of angels once you look at angelology a Lil bit.

I always had a Michael person supporting me throughout my life from the age of 19 ( from what I can clearly recall) which is when I left home. There was always a Michael to guard and protect me and even guide me. Wherever in the world I went I met a Michael. I am now pregnant and my first born will be called Michael.

I guess throughout my life, it was Uriel that made me want to help people. Even helping people while I'm at work
I was having a bad few days. My mother passed away and 4 days later, my father passed away. 9:39 the purple light. I was sitting outside feeling depressed and sad, I was just staring empty like up at the tree line. And out of nowhere like a bright firework a purple streak, making a shape that was not made by anything man made. After seeing this I took it as a sign from my mother. Her favorite color was purple. But this also makes sense too. Either way after that moment I felt like a huge weight was taken from my body. I have never seen or experienced anything like it since. December 17th, and December 21st. Were the dates they passed. It has been 9 years now and I can still envision it like it just happened.

Very funny to think of it this way but you have to remember that time is a human creation. The angels never knew time, for they were created for eternity. I'm sure they never tire as well. They are what they are and carry out their purpose.

I’m very sceptical about a lot of things about gods/goddess and mythical creatures but I’ve been able to see a giant shadow following me around snice I was a child and now I’m 6”3’ and it still towers over me and I can feel it presents sometimes it’s the only thing that fully creeps me out
I have felt haunted by a certain concept for a long time, when I became interested in psychology, and spirituality I learned about the concept of shadows and shadow people. Although usually associated with negative things, in my own personal experiences I’ve found that many shadows can represent different fears, or traumas, and won’t hurt people unless pushed into a corner so to say, or given the beliefs of fear or other energies. When I healed from certain traumas, my own shadow went from being my greatest enemy, to one of my dearest friends, and closest allies. I can’t actually see mine, I can feel them. That being said, perhaps getting to know this shadow, could reveal what they represent, and once you know that, you may be better equipped to choose how to handle them. Perhaps despite their appearance, there is something underneath to uncover, and find freedom in. Best of luck.
That doesn't sound good at all. I've had a demon follow me around when I was younger. My friend at the time, confirmed it for me as I was walking with her one day and she had seen it while I had felt paranoia as if something was following me but I saw nothing. She noticed my behavior and asked what was wrong, at the time I said nothing and brushed aside my feelings. Hadn't told her anything because I didn't want to come off as crazy. Later, She had told me something was following me around and described it. I had a previous traumatic encounter with this spirit before, I didn't tell anyone about, where I've only seen it. So, she convinced me she actually saw the spirit and confirmed I wasn't going crazy.
I shared that story to say, the giant shadow figure following you around is likely a demon especially if it's causing you to feel anxious. If you reside in a place that's haunted, done anything to attract that spirit (likely) or someone had cursed you then yeah. To get rid of it, pray and ask God for deliverance from the evil one, make you a believer (especially if you are atheist). If you cannot pray alone and be humble about it then go to a church and have someone pray with you.
I guarantee you, the shadow will flee.
In my case, I went for prayer at a church and asked God to close "my third eye". Haven't had a spiritual experience as extreme since I was maybe 10 yrs old.
The experience showed me that demons are real, God is real and so too must angels be real.
I hope my heart remembers the joy of the lord,as my mind only remembers the words.

the angelic hierarchy is a strange one...god, the son and the holy spirit have their central universe where they have created the 7 manifest aspect of personality and then they have created the order the record keepers and then their actual creator son. these sons then go of to create their own universes, with the permission of god to do so. and then these sons ( called michaels) then create in their own way, each unique in their own right. michaels then go through a bestowal process were they incarnate within the seven spheres of animal life, from the lowest to the highest. all to gain the right to be sovereign leader of the universe they create. within the creation process the hierarchy that god created before a michael creates has much input and oversee's the universe and its running whilst the micheal is going through a bestowal process. the reason michael is named an arch angel is because he is the rightful creator and sovereign of his given universe. the reason? no one can truly know except a michael themselves. however, it has something to do with the uplifting of the soul of a mortal being and to help them advance towards the feet of god. many of the scriptures point towards this and many of the ancient civilisations cultural creation myths point towards it. if you want a more indepth version (and it surely is more indepth) then read the urantia papers. this will explain everything in as much detail as they are allowed to give, but you will have to connect the dots, between that book and other scriptures. a good place to start, is thoths golden tablets, then the lumerian scrolls and then the urantia papers, kind of working backwards through time to get a broader understanding of the connections we had with them in the past and then coming full circle to were it has relevance in todays world. unfortunately, because of manipulation of negative angelic forces, our view of all this has been twisted to allow our michaels creation to be tainted... but he will return and correct what has been caused and we will all be set back on the right path of spiritual learning... but not in this life time :( in a future one of ours this will happen... possibly in about 1500 years time once we have learnt the error of our ways of selfishness and greed... dire circumstances creates an idle place of learning for what is required and gives us perspective on what is actually desire by the soul, not the ego.... in essence, be yourself, be true to yourself and respect others and allow them to be themselves. dont force your ideas and beliefs on to others and just be kind to one another. i know this sounds hypocritical as i am writing this statement, but it is up to you to believe, read and learn about what i write.

Well I’m glad someone said it… The only angel I have met by name is Azreal, but I now associate him with multiple other angels and weather they are one or different entities I’ve found gets confusing, and no one can quite agree on. Despite never having observed him in a human appearance excepting the time he appeared to me as a reaper skeleton covered in roses and black robes, despite not having a human body, I thought he was very attractive after every time we met. He is very scary, and very powerful, huge with many many eyes, but he protects and helps the lost, disabled, and blinded. He saved me from a hellish life, and helped me to recover. And so I love him. I think he is beautiful, and awesome.

Technically veneration of any angel is impermissable, Michael is the least problematic because of the meaning of his name: "Who resembles God?" in Judaism and Christianity whose mere uttering is an automatic chastising of any idolatry towards him. While from the Islamic perspective his role as manager of the supplications of created beings is what limits the extent of damage it can do offering prayers to him since they would pass through his gaze anyways. In general though it is better to turn our prayers directly to God instead of playing pick the right angel.

Personally I believe God is absolute Anti-existance, or Void. I think Existence came from Unexistance. Light came from Darkness. I think The universe was created because Unexistance/Void was lonely, and bored. I think a third of the angels rebelling and falling from heaven is a metaphor for the mixing between existence and non existence and a great devide being created between them. But I also think that whatever people believe is what then becomes in part truth and that concepts adapt to fit the stories we tell, and that the world is run entirely by opposites, and that Nothing is real, and Everything is real simultaneously, and when combined there is where God dwells. 💙
