That is such a good idea to mount it inside. A friend of mine has his mounted to the inside of his frame rail and with rain water, salt, mud, rocks and cold he’s had to replace it 2 times already. It’s installed so nice to. Looks clean. All the wires are nice and hidden and the switches all looks just like it would be OEM.
@@briankissel7661 no not the fuel pump. The air compressor. Unless you have a fully built race vehicle with fuel cells and fire proof everything. It’s probably a big time bad idea to move your fuel pump inside the cabin of a stock interior vehicle.

Good vibrations. I have a 10” sub mounted under my passenger seat for those and my twin arb is behind the back seat with some fuse panels and 2 Spods for my center console switches. Lights, lockers, winch, jumper cables and air compressor

Keep checking your air tube from manifold time to time. Nylon tube will deform and eventually, break by heat generated from air compressor. Consider to change to steel braided tube if necessary. Love your video by the way. Lady with air comp is 2x sexy!
There's no reason to mount anything where it's exposed to heat cycles or weather if you don't have to. I have mine under the passenger seat for the same reason. BTW that nice but expensive under seat mount isn't necessary. Some quality double backed adhesive and rotating the manifold rearward allows for pretty easy use from rear seat footwell access. I do like your setup a lot I just couldn't justify the cost to have the disconnect located there. I love having on board air.
Glad someone else felt my wallet on this one.. I really wanted to do this but the $150ish mount plus cost of the compressor I'd be happy to just toss a pancake in my bed and strap it.. 😢
So you had an air compressor mount in the bed of your truck on the port side. Did this not work out? Clean install as usual for your truck. Looks awesome.
Do you even electrical bro? 😁 Everything in a car runs off the battery when the engine's not running, and runs off the alternator when the engine is running. Period. Everything.

For instance, the main battery could be a lead-acid battery used for starting the vehicle and powering essential components like running lights and the ECU. You can also have an auxiliary battery, which can also be lead-acid(deep cycle battery) or better an LFP. The AUX battery can power inverters or other devices you want to keep running while the vehicle is off. there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
Extra noise and heat in the cabin.. no thanks. There’s a reason the engine bay is the most popular placement. The head on the compressor can get over 100 degrees C.
That’s something I’d never install in a vehicle. If I was off road I’d carry two spares in the back or on the roof. And if I was on a long trip I’d carry a 12v light pump. This is only required if you have air suspension and you regularly lower or raise the car for speed bumps while in transit. Filling up tires is very very easy to stay on top of in a city or close to receptacles.
Your drivers seat may be on the the right, but that’s wrong for most of the world. UK and its subsidiary Australia have it weird, Japan got sucked into that choice by having the British design their train systems.
