Well, except that the actual androids humanity will create will most definitely be unable to in a way, through action or inaction, cause a human to come to harm, unless doing so is absolutely necessary to prevent a second human from coming to harm, depending on which of the two is the more "valuable" one to save in the given situation (like the innocent one if the android witnesses a crime, or the one whose safety is more assured in a situation where the android can only possibly save one human out of two or more that are in danger).

Manly is really smart and always has at least an idea of the plot twists in the games he plays. It was really unusual and cute hearing him being confused after that twist at the end.

I guess it kinda makes sense, the reason the "mother" would believe she is human for so long is because of her "phobias", so she hasn't had enough contact with the outside world to realize everyone else is a cyborg.

I get what the creator was going for, I can understand their logic... but I kept waiting for the girl to kill NAT after he revealed that he killed Nathan. While on him, poor Nathan. The guy built an android, either purely for science or specifically for companionship, fell in love, built them a child and got killed for his efforts.

well , all the android did was just push him like a kid would do , it was just bad luck that the android is way stronger than an actual child and the laboratorium was shock full of dangerous shit

I was questioning this story near the end, but it really peaked at the after credits. So much lore dumped at the very last line and then it's the the end, wow.

A little bit of et tu, Oedipus? But he specified he had the mind of a child - a sadly jealous, self-centered, manipulative child - so he didn't mean permanent harm. I suppose their version of love was enough for them. It wouldn't be for me if I was human. No replica could replace the man I love.
I think part of the lore was the "poisoned" forest - maybe nuclear radiation or something is killing off humans. The translation needed help, but not too awful. Good attempt that could have used more fleshing out, pardon the pun.

I wouldn't say it was cold-blooded murder, or even cold. It seemed rather hot-blooded, what with it being fairly impulsive and the fire afterwards. Yeah? Hot-blooded fire? heh
As for the forest, I dunno. It may be contaminants. Like two androids with unusual batteries that stayed in the same spot for over eighty years. Only Nathan knows what was in those things. Hell, it could've been a weak thermonuclear reactor like those on space probes that feeds into a buffer battery to allow for bursts of activity, which carries the advantage of being low-maintenance and not requiring refueling for the extent of its designed lifespan. I'm sure Nathan had a plan for cleanup that he would've committed to had he not died in a chemical fire.
For there being nowhere to plant crops anymore, it's possible the remaining androids are not as aware of the environment as things that breathe (humans) are.

Which gives me a great mental picture of dead people planted with their feet sticking up, mouldering away. I actually think there was a Night Gallery episode like that.
This actually was a fairly depressing little game, tbh. More sad & weird than cute but I give it credit for at least not being about "a strange, sad amnesiac little girl _in ruffles_ searches for the _shocking but moe_ truth behind her _horrible_ past as she picks up rabbit charms throughout a strange HUMONGOUS mansion. NB: All charms results in bonus true ending #63".

I kinda didn't like the ending. Yes, she was very forgiving and rational about the whole thing, but that's mostly because I think she was more fearful of living out the rest of her days alone in the forest and figured forgiveness was somehow the lesser evil.
at first I was confused about An's sprite, it looks like snake's head with tounge in and out.
I agree with manly, the post-apocalyptic lore is interesting. The only gameplay is finding the letter with limited batteries though.

The characters a real cute, and it was really appealing to watch! i like the idea of an android with humanistic feelings.. Although, i can't help but feel that this story is missing... practically all of itself. I mean there's no point where you get a real feel for the real personality or motive of either of the two before "the end," especialy not the android, so everything thing just feels ham stringed at the end. Of course, it was made for a game challenge so i could imagine they only had so much time to develop anything, let alone a complex story. For what they did manage to get though, it's pretty good, just the ending throws people off. The story's not bad, just missing a few peices
But what am i going on about, MBA is just playing the game with his soothing af voice, so in the end all is good.

I see a lot of people here saying Nat is terrible for lying and all that, but it's worth nothing that he was also specifically given a child-like AI, so it totally makes sense, in a way.
If nothing else, it'd explain why he shipped himself in a cardboard box.

While volatile when combined,
they are quite harmonious when together.
Those are still some awful batteries - way too short lived.
I wasn't expecting the last plot twist, but the forest tidbit probably has something to do with the lore.
Well, they seemingly are self charging with no need for fuel or any kind, so I'd say they are pretty damn amazing.
While its recharging function is pretty useful, if I was running on those batteries I don't think I'd be able to even finish this sent----

Very strange but oddly cute game...or rather story. I'm a stickler for the actual game processing the story rather than playing the entire story all at once (especially because this game relies heavily on a story). Yes, short time limit but this felt more like a visual novel than a game.
But even so I am a sucker for android-trying-to-find-their-place/android-understanding-human-emotion things, so this story was very sweet to me... Although the double plot twists at the end was really bizarre.
Overall, if there was more time I would have liked to have seen this game be more of an actual game where lore/backstory would have been fleshed out more so players can have a better feel for the characters.
