Also wanted to point out some things , forgot to put this on the video : Wisp goes invisible when in the air (something you'll often do while doing ExoCon) which means you can get the stealth damage multiplier (+700% damage bonus) , wisp also has breach surge which what makes number go boom , and also the reservoirs which can give you extra health , speed , and a little bit of crowd control. More of a reason to use wisp other than Chroma / Loki / Zephyr Get a rank 3 Exodia Contagion if you have spare plat , while 30m is not often the range you'll be killing enemies on the star chart , but it may be good for open world content (extra 400% damage) Any zaw head you want / currently have is alright , just kronsh / rabvee has the highest disposition out of all of them making them having better stats when using a riven (made a mistake in this , now more people are gonna use kronsh and make the dispo go down D: ) If you want to use a riven , unveil one or buy a trash one and re-roll it. You don't have to sell your kidney to get some riven from a guy that's selling it overpriced. Buy or get a riven for your currently equipped zaw , re-roll it until you get crit chance + some damage boost (cd , md ,+imp/slash) + no negatives or an acceptable one (Tip : higher MR rivens offer better stats , so if you're buying one , make sure thats its atleast MR 12 and up) If you're doing survival runs , switch spoiled strike with bane mods , way higher damage and doesn't hurt your attack speed Also get linked by nidus / equinox ab strenght boost to get over 1k eclipse , just eye candy that's all. Wisp + contagion has been a match made in heaven since her release, it's just gotten stronger and stronger as we get more tools at our disposal. I've recently pivoted that build into an all rounder ability spam wisp with a one shot vectis with an absurd reload from the aero set. Big unga booga numbers on everything in her kit instead of just hyperfocusing on overkill damage on one aspect of her kit.

Great video, love EC. Consider vigorous swap. Wisp is truly the biggest damage for this build no question, but also consider octavia. With the power strength used for this build on eclipse, you also get enough str on her 3 to gain over 100% MULTISHOT for EC. its pretty fun to go full stealth, mallet roaming about while you throw out TWO exodia projectiles.
Melee weapons don’t have multi shot and they can’t gain multi shot unless you use mirage but that isn’t multi shot it’s basically just more people throwing it

Use eclipse on volt instead, mix it with his shields and you got yourself a red critting million damaging monster of a weapon because for some god defying reason the projectile goes through his barriers.
I have recently tried this build on wf just to try out something new and different. I’m typing this on, Sunday August 6th 2023. And this build is like a never seen before, I’ve used everything that I was told to use and still can do a 100 million damage, not that long ago I even did the big billion. But all I’m saying is this build is still good and this might be my new everyday weapon.
Amazing video! This is why i'm not playing Warframe anymore. When you finish a good build there is nothing left to do in the game except hit kill enemies in the survival stages.

there's a few ways to make it even stronger such as having a full squad with steel charge and going into a arbitration with a wisp bonus and having rhino ability and using arcane blade charger

yeah for newbs this isn't the way to go at all as you need rep too to buy the pieces plus plat for the arcane to get it to work then all the forma as well as it needs at least 3-4 forma plus all the mats the ming plans etc cetus wisps the lsit goes on lol sorry bud
I've been doing this with Wisp for a long time and hasn't notice the nerf... this explains why I am not seeing the crazy numbers no more after taking a few months break from the game. I guess the crazy numbers were kind of imba. Fun but oh well. Still one shots steel path mobs most of the time. Can't really do like lowest kill count but highest damage all the time now with wisp and confused the hek out of PUGs. Also one more tip on Wisp. Drop a well at near the choke point and Surge to it expanding the range. This way you don't need to build too much range on Wisp. But before that cast #2 upwards from your initial location. Once the surge activates hit #2 to return, but up in the air. Jump once and launch Contagion. I tell you, it's glorious if you do it right.
I've been working on something similar with limbo for a while, a build I like to call "the hanged man" (yes, this is a Jojo reference), use a dagger zaw and mod it for crit and finisher damage, then subsume marked for death on limbo (DO NOT REMOVE RIFT SURGE), you then decide if u want to remove banish or cataclysm, the build is a range and strength build, so we can use rift surge augment, duration is kinda important, so try to keep it above 70 or something, same goes for efficiency, specially if u want to keep cataclysm, the set up is simple, use stasis, banish your enemies into the shadow realm, cast rift surge for a tasty 300% extra damage and then use marked for death, thx to our high crit and extra finisher damage on our zaw (covert lethality is a must) we execute our marked for death target, this damage is then distributed among the surrounding enemies (from 17 to 20 meters) while procing bleed (all finisher moves in daggers proc bleed, idk why I just roll with it), this could sound kinda bad, but warframe abilities affect enemies independently on what plain of existance they are in, so, you can get a easy and secure kill on the rift, while nuking every surrounding enemy both inside and outside the rift and because every kill in the rift restores 10 energy, nuking a small group allows you to recast this setup with little to no energy loss This is not taking into account squad buffs (damage or invisibility) nor arcane buffs, so, do with this what you want ;)
Falls into the category of "cool but slightly impractical" by the sound of things. Warframe is full of those kinds of combos/strategies - you can make all kinds of things work, and even work fairly well, but the more setup you have to put in, the more likely you are to either run into an issue or have some squadmate with a Bramma/Zarr/Plasmor/Bubonico or Glaive Prime or EC build blow away the enemy crowd. That's all assuming you don't have a strong Saryn nuking the whole tileset so you never see an enemy, of course.
I really love this video! But about mods: According to the wiki, the Explosion of Projectile has a forced Impact proc and does 5x the Zaw's damage, with a damage distribution of 100% Viral damage. So you don't need any Virus mods, while the Impact percent of the Head of the Zaw doesn't matter too.
A good alternative to eclipse as well would be roar from rhino as it multiplies the overall dmg and unlike eclipse does not need to be in light to add that multiplier to the dmg
Wait... I have played for around 500 hours, and I still do around 9k damage with the highest tech shotgun from tier s list with the best recommended mods and fully upgraded. And this mf is running around with an atomic bomb strapped to a stick?
Roar would be a better choice just due to it’s consistent over eclipse and its a faction damage boost that also effects ability and supports your team if your not a solo player
NOTE: in the end, he removes "berserker fury" to make room for the riven mod, so don't even bother about it if you are following the steps and you don't have it.
I've been using the 'boom-erang' for about two years now doing this exact thing (Wisp + eclipse), and I smiled when I saw that Zaws go very underused according to the charts they put out of 2022. But it seems these crazy lads around the system are figuring it out, and I suppose so will DE. They'll never let this fly, so it was fun while it lasted. ;) My fondest memory was out-damaging 24/7 Arquebex spam on a railjack defense. That and their reactions to the scoreboard was all I needed to know I had struck gold. Enjoy having 99% damage done, Tenno.
This video is about to get me back into WF. I went on break about three or four months ago, maybe longer. My main issue was with the game's balance with Steel Path content and how it was starting to feel like I need to run a tank frame every single time I wanted to play, removing the use for half my cast. This? This totally negates that and I LOVE it. Can't wait for DE to nerf it once this video blows up.
There's ton of great not tanky builds you can do for steel path content of your willing to die, I love running tanks but I'm a big fan of squishy casters too
Best thing is? Exodia contagion has always been in the game, and has always been broken. If I'm not mistaken, the creator has a video a year ago using/showcasing exodia, so yeah, this has been around
@@0netwoguy54 It's been nerfed before though, and probably will be nerfed again, with the new focus on trying to make AoE suck for some reason. They missed a lot of good AoE options on the first pass but unfortunately I think they'll get around to it.
What if you replace Spoiled Strike with Corrupt Charge? I'm honestly not sure how the damage of the projectiles is affected by the combo counter. But it would be amazing if it works.

@@RapTapTap69 This is partially correct. You shouldn't build for combo or initial combo with Contagion. I've been doing some tests. It seems that Combo only increases the damage of the Exodia Contagion projectile after travelling the 30m, and the damage formula in the wiki page for Contagion is correct. Assuming the wiki page is accurate and my test results aren't trolling me: For each additional Combo multiplier, you get +25% damage on top of the +300% damage (assuming r3 Contagion), so with max Combo Multi of 12x, the Contagion projectile gets +575% damage, or 6.75x damage. In comparison with +300% after 30m with zero Combo, max combo normal air attack is roughly a +69% increase in damage after 30m. Combo does NOT seem to have an affect on the projectile before 30m. If you run Corrupt Charge, you start at 2x Combo Multi, which is only +25% damage, resulting in a total of +325% damage after 30m. I won't bother doing the math, but up from the base +300% of the r3 arcane, +325% is a tiny improvement and a waste of a mod slot. This mod also has zero effect on the projectile before 30m. Due to the weird interactions with the Combo Multiplier resulting in damage gains significantly LESS than what you'd think it would be, and the fact that the projectiles don't actually count for increasing combo (you'd have to use ash, or god forbid smack the enemies with your weapon that swings slower than a slug), it is generally better to abandon Combo builds for Contagion altogether and throw everything at the Heavy Attack. The Heavy Air Attack with Contagion uses the Zaw's Heavy Attack damage instead of its normal air attack damage and can abuse Killing Blow and the 2x CC on Sac. Steel and the Riven, resulting in significantly higher base damage and free red crits as a bonus with minimal setup. tldr: dont build for combo.

big slash procs come from big base damage + *big bane multiplier* - that’s the most important one. For status effects, the slash dot (the proc) gets double effects of banes (include ability-based bane multipliers). In combination, big number

You can also use Ivara´s second ability on the projectile of the exodia contagion so you can get the damage multiplier. That´s how I use it.

@@jarethkelly567 I think you misheard. Roar doesn't multiply faction damage it instead ACTS like faction damage and stacks additively with it

What's even better is if you use hardened wellspring (zenurik focus school) and then use eclipse you get way more dmg
Roar would be a better choice just due to it’s consistent over eclipse and its a faction damage boost that also effects ability and supports your team if your not a solo player

I've been using the 'boom-erang' for about two years now doing this exact thing (Wisp + eclipse), and I smiled when I saw that Zaws go very underused according to the charts they put out of 2022.
But it seems these crazy lads around the system are figuring it out, and I suppose so will DE. They'll never let this fly, so it was fun while it lasted. ;)
My fondest memory was out-damaging 24/7 Arquebex spam on a railjack defense. That and their reactions to the scoreboard was all I needed to know I had struck gold.

This video is about to get me back into WF. I went on break about three or four months ago, maybe longer. My main issue was with the game's balance with Steel Path content and how it was starting to feel like I need to run a tank frame every single time I wanted to play, removing the use for half my cast. This? This totally negates that and I LOVE it. Can't wait for DE to nerf it once this video blows up.
There's ton of great not tanky builds you can do for steel path content of your willing to die, I love running tanks but I'm a big fan of squishy casters too
Best thing is? Exodia contagion has always been in the game, and has always been broken. If I'm not mistaken, the creator has a video a year ago using/showcasing exodia, so yeah, this has been around
@@0netwoguy54 It's been nerfed before though, and probably will be nerfed again, with the new focus on trying to make AoE suck for some reason. They missed a lot of good AoE options on the first pass but unfortunately I think they'll get around to it.

You don’t wanna do that bc you will half your combo duration. If anything just go to naramon and keep the damage
@@rated_tox1c990 I'm pretty sure you don't care about combo with contagion so going with the already 2x combo would probably be better than trying to keep up combo but still using contagion. Not to mention if you use the heavy to throw the contagion then you'll lose your combo anyways

I've been doing some tests. It seems that Combo only increases the damage of the Exodia Contagion projectile after travelling the 30m, and the damage formula in the wiki page for Contagion is correct.
Assuming the wiki page is accurate and my test results aren't trolling me: For each additional Combo multiplier, you get +25% damage on top of the +300% damage (assuming r3 Contagion), so with max Combo Multi of 12x, the Contagion projectile gets +575% damage, or 6.75x damage. In comparison with +300% after 30m with zero Combo, max combo normal air attack is roughly a +69% increase in damage after 30m. Combo does NOT seem to have an affect on the projectile before 30m.
If you run Corrupt Charge, you start at 2x Combo Multi, which is only +25% damage, resulting in a total of +325% damage after 30m. I won't bother doing the math, but up from the base +300% of the r3 arcane, +325% is a tiny improvement and a waste of a mod slot. This mod also has zero effect on the projectile before 30m.
Due to the weird interactions with the Combo Multiplier resulting in damage gains significantly LESS than what you'd think it would be, and the fact that the projectiles don't actually count for increasing combo (you'd have to use ash, or god forbid smack the enemies with your weapon that swings slower than a slug), it is generally better to abandon Combo builds for Contagion altogether and throw everything at the Heavy Attack.
The Heavy Air Attack with Contagion uses the Zaw's Heavy Attack damage instead of its normal air attack damage and can abuse Killing Blow and the 2x CC on Sac. Steel and the Riven, resulting in significantly higher base damage and free red crits as a bonus with minimal setup.
tldr: dont build for combo.

big slash procs come from big base damage + *big bane multiplier* - that’s the most important one. For status effects, the slash dot (the proc) gets double effects of banes (include ability-based bane multipliers). In combination, big number
by base damage, I mean regular damage mods and arcane
Mega buff Roar Saryn might help. Buffs with 1 (augment) and 3 and 4 (roar). This basicly makes every DoT build NUTS
