Tenants need to form together and put their rent money in escrow downtown.

Yeah they may have fixed those issues but what about everything else Company’s who hire a Management Co. should check on their Investment they bought management co. are notorious for not fixing the problem’s in management run apartment’s and if they do it’s half ass and doesn’t last just like filling in potholes they put that stuff in there and then car’s drive on them and pack it down into another pothole because it was done half ass ‼️‼️

Landlords exploit people for a basic human need.

Not all of us landlords do. I own several modest houses in Ottawa county Michigan. I take excellent care of them n treat my (longterm) tenants like family.

GTFO you dirty commie. these people could never afford to buy a house, so landlords are necessary for them to have a place to live

@BufordDuckworth, Stop it you're talking out the side of your neck my friend. It's not as basic as you think for a landlord who owns a property like the "Rainbow Terrace." If any human is being exploited it's the tradesmen trying to fix the problems for tenants who are in need of their own safety & life from being shot, robbed or both by the ignorant MFer's living there. Those are one of the worst set of projects you could ever live in Cleveland. Trust me, I'd rather live in a cardboard box on the streets of downtown Cleveland then that part of the Eastside hood, for sure. It's f%cked up for a landlord to find workers to go in their to fix something. You've gotta have a crew with you on the inside & out just to fix one man job. Even then you & your crew still aren't guaranteed nothing will go down. A couple in the tool trucks in the parking lot in hopes nobody jacks you. Plus a couple dudes inside the apt with you just to unclog a drain, it's BS! The tenants are the one's who bear the blame more so than the landlord in that hell hole. Just saying... "Get Your Mind Right!" 😵‍💫 +Peace & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul My Friend+ 🤘😜🤘

@@216Numbskull So you've never heard of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs? Shelter is a basic human need. Please read a book and stop licking boots.

@@alphaomega5909 I'll repeat that since you didn't seem to understand. "Landlords exploit people for a basic human need." Do you have a job, sir? Are you gainfully employed or do you live off the fruits of the labor of your tennants?

They should move if they don't like it. I would. I sure as hell wouldn't call the news. Just move.

      The problem is affordability.

I sure in hell wouldn't move into "Rainbow Terrace" in the first place, f%ck that, I'm good. You'd be better off living in a cardboard box in the middle of downtown Cleveland then in that hood for sure. Area hoods like the "Rainbow Terrace, King Kennedy, Case Court, Morris Black, etc..." are some of the most dangerous section-8 projects in The-Land of the (216). Not that I feel anyone deserves to live in piss poor conditions. But, when it's most of the tenants who live there themselves that are literally pissing all over the place inside & out. Constantly destroying everything they touch in their own apts every other week to be fixed again isn't an easy thing to do. Landlords are pretty much in a catch-22 most of the time. Not only are they continuously trying to replace, fix & repeat the same work orders every other week. Even if minimal work that needs to be done is hard to get a tradesman in there to work without worrying about getting shot, robbed or both. Just keeping it a buck!
