I agree. Yes what he did or didn’t do in his private life doesn’t discredit him from his contributions to the industry. He’s still the goat. The true voice of tejano. No one is above the law and wether Joe was framed or not doesnt matter, fact is Joe was released from prison and he has legal paperwork to back him and his innocense... so he shouldnt be judged for that anymore... besides, like you said, his legal troubles are completely irrelevant to his music, musically Mazz was a masterpiece... Joe's voice, the songs they selected, the musical arrangements, Jimmy's amazing talent along with the great musicians that formed Mazz made a once in a lifetime combo... Joe and Jimmy both deserve their flowers, they deserve recognition, in this case Jimmy was being left out, but im sure even Jimmy's son would agree that Joe deserves his moment at the TTMAs, I know leaving Jimmy out was wrong but Joe isnt less deserving
