I now love that MCU canon means that while Star Lord was having a dance battle in space, Kingpin was ripping someone’s head off with a car door
I noticed they put all the Netflix show in the timeline on Disney plus
It’s official that David Tennant plays the best villain in the the entire MCU.
Not only that, all of the Netflix series have been added to the timeline on Disney+ so I hope we get everyone back in the future.
From my perspective, the Netflix shows either take place along side the phase two and three movies when they were released on netlfix or during the 5 year period between infinity war and end game. Glad they are officially canon and can’t wait to see who else they bring back. Hopefully punisher!
It should be along Phase 2/3 because for Daredevil S1, Kingpin/The Hand use the "incident" which I guess could be The Blip but it was more likely the Avengers 1 incident because they outright mention physical damage to New York not people vanishing cause buildings to go down in value which led to the events in S1. Also Jessica Jones had mention of the incident also her best friend was locked up in that Sea Prison that the other avengers were in Civil War.
0:36 *Sal doing a Charlie impression is what I didn't know I needed.* 😆
I'm pretty sure Elektra was alive at the end of defenders I think it's explained that she's most likely than one to pull Matt out of all the rubble
Agents of Shield Next LETS GO
RUNAWAYS NEXT!!!! LET'S GOOOOOOOO
No just the first 2 seasons if they do, last 3 three seasons of shield were ass
@@BlueCheeseLucciYou realize the show has 7 seasons right?
@@emmarod8746yes that's what I am saying the first two to three seasons were good. Seasons 6 and 7 terrible.
@@BlueCheeseLucci no they werent
It always was. Like in past interviews Kevin Feige said he wanted to bring the TV shows characters into the movies, but said it would be difficult because of schedule conflicts between movies and shows. The Russo Brothers even said they wanted to put Daredevil and Luke Cage in Endgame, but decided not to because the final battle already had too many characters. Even the actors said that their contracts stated that they had to appear in the movies if Marvel wanted them too.
The only reason it was even up to debate was because Kevin Feige kept saying that the Disney Plus shows would be more important and connect with the movies more. For some reason people thought that meant that the old shows won't canon, but it actually meant you need to watch the shows in order to understand the movies. For example you didn't need to watch a single Netflix show in order to understand Endgame or other MCU movies. But now with Disney Plus, you have to watch Wandavision if you wanted to understand Multiverse of Madness.
it used to be, then the Netflix guy and FEige had issues and the Netflix stuff was made non canon quietly. Now it's just canon again.
@@kyleellis1825 It was never made non canon quietly. One of the producer said it was just up in the air for a while, until they finally decided they are 100% canon.
It was made non canon back around phase 2 because of the Feige/Netflix guy feud.@@JustSomeMexicanwithaMustache
@@JustSomeMexicanwithaMustachesorry but wouldn’t that be exactly what that means? I feel like you’re both disagreeing while saying the same thing
I agree with it might be alot to keep with mcu but i am the average joe and i have kept with all shows and movies but it never felt like a strain for me. Not everything has been great but i hate we are only getting one mcu movie this year
These two describing a Avengers show where they just live out their days, reminds me of that Webtoons Batfamily comic which is literally that. Slice of life with superheroes. Low stakes, character focused. I’d watch that.
DareDevil being cannon requires all the Netflix shows to be cannon, since the Defenders story is a major point in DareDevil's over all story. That said, I wonder if anything will be done about Mahershala Ali being both Blade and Cottonmouth, or if they'll just pretend like it's nothing and move on.
70% sure the lady who gives Tony the picture of her kid that died in Sokovia at the start of Civil War was also in Luke Cage. And she wasn’t the same character. They’ll probably just be like “eh whatever it’s fine.”
Its so weird to me to consider 6 episodes and 3 movies in an entire year as an untennable request. The quality should be good , but man w year is a ling ass time
Noticed Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, and Inhumans wasn’t added to the timeline
Would you watch a thirty minute long extended cut of the Avengers 1 shawarma restaurant scene?
Yup
I love the little interpersonal moments my favorite moment in all the shows was bucky and Sam fixing the boat in falcon and winter soldier.
Matt is dealing with his own demons right now, Literally! lol 14:01
Guardians 3 better than 1 and 2? No way.
Is there any way i can order the hot sauce from canada?
They're call me crazy (in the past)
if Matt made it out after defender so could elektra
Oh boy, Iron Fist is canon... boy that character really deserved a redo, they did him dirty.
They should have him team up with Shang Chi or something if they're not going to do the Heroes For Hire pairing.
On one hand I love that Daredevil is canon because it also makes Punisher, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage canon.
On the other hand it annoys me a little that Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter with their direct tie-ins with the MCU still have been snubbed from canon but Iron Fist is now in the MCU.
The trailer for Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12 was released! I do think Sal and Larry were cut from the same cloth.
If marvel wants to continue with shows it is time to clearly mark a "main Story" that is like 20h per Phase and other side stuff. And maybe add like they did in old cabel tv Shows a little section "preavealously in the MCU" with espacily relevant Moments bevor some of the bigger movies, so you do not ask yourself should I know about this or is this maybe some new information.
All I want now besides Spider-Man teaming up with Daredevil to go punch guys right now, is Shang-chi vs Iron fist
I was open to new casting on Luke and Danny. But still a smart idea. Wish she hulk never happened the way it did, but still.
Idk the legal stuff but I believe a CHEAP batman show would work because most people actually love bruce Wayne. Don't need much effects.
I have always been of the opinion that that Elektra is still alive after Defenders. I mean, Matt survived to go on to Season 3. Same building
Please review Echo!!!!
Don't need another DD show now that the old is canon. A movie would be sick tho and the next logical step. Just hope they would bring back the old writers and creators from the show.
I'd rather just have a new daredevil show continuing the story but also telling a new one, like a new run of comics
Oh like a forth season! I guess I'd be alright with that if they still brought the same team back for it. Maybe throw in some cameos like Spidey or Moon Knight now that the rights are figured out, not to steal the show of course but to support DD in an episode or two.@@kadegetslaid634
Canonizing it doesn’t promise the new season will be good. Marvel Studios needs A LOT of change to return to their pre-Endgame prime.
👍
I have to disagree with Sal about She-Hulk. The supporting cast stole the show. DareDevil stole Jen's show. And not just saying as that as a blind person. I felt that Jen was written to be a kick-butting woman with a heart of gold. She came across as mean and selfish. Is She-Hulk a bad show? Yes, but it is to determine what is good and what is bad.
Still waiting for them to say Agents of Shield is canon
Think they'll add INHUMANS to the timeline?😂😂😂😂
as someone who never watched the netflix stuff as it was new but heard it was great i finally watch punisher and luke cage go ok these are cool daredevils next get on ep 2 and hear its all canceled so i stopped since i prefer a bad ending to no ending if Born Again isnt a season 4 just not gunna watch it
I would highly recommend you watch Daredevil the 3 season's. Luke Cage was considered the 3rd best out of the 5 and Punisher was towards the 4th or 5th spot. However Daredevil was the best Netflix Marvel show and it was so good thats why they wanted them back. The story does have an ending with just a small teaser for a season 4 villain but that's it. It's a great show with Season 3 being the absolute peak of maybe all of Marvel.
@@lavafighter3236 ill catch up id born again is S4 mainly because i dont watch weekly i let it end then binge it
You guys are asking for things that are like 2 panels in a comic book. That can be done. That’s easy, effortless compared to making a movie. Comic books last as long as you take on each page, so scenes like that can carry as much weight at the reader lets it. You can’t do that in movies.
Wait so is born again not happening now?
Still happening but they’re reworking it prior to this latest news.
BRING MIKE COLTER BACK!!!
Comment for algorithm.
The woman from Star Wars said, in the recent interview, this time that women are represented more in Star Wars, even though the last character was mostly about a woman. Character was a woman and was overpowered and didn’t have to earn anything, so yeah, good luck getting us to give a shit about that
Names?
Very frustrating to see people acting like it's just been *added* to canon when Feige himself explicitly confirmed it was canon 7 years ago.
No he said some stuff was not all of it was cannon but now their saying all of it is cannon
Cause words are words until like ya know the actual work to include something to make it canon actually occurs
@@adamball6060 you are incorrect. He was addressing the entire Defender series when asked
@@hobbes6392 words from the guy who made the thing carry substantial weight.
@@JordanBlueman alls I’m saying is that if canonicity flows one way then it’s not canon. Agents of Shield can pretend until the sun explodes that they’re apart of the MCU but the movies and real TV shows will never acknowledge them.
Same goes for the Netflix stuff, until a show or movie references an event that occurred in those Netflix shows I don’t care what Fiege or whoever says, canonicity has to flow both ways.
The smartest move Marvel could do is keep the shows and movies mostly separate in that guys like Daredevil, Punisher, Luke Cage and etc are the shows and the guys like Spider-Man, Hulk, Winter Soldier and Captain America/Falcon are movies but leave an opportunity for someone like Daredevil to make an appearance in a Spider-Man movie basically they need to decide rather a character exist mostly in movies or mostly shows and not try to make them both.
And Echo has already proven that Disney having control over the Netflix characters was a bad idea
Well yeah of course the supporting cast was not that fleshed out the main focus is the main character. Also in every sitcom not all the characters are fleshed out by the end of the season.
Dialogue heavy Aaron Sorkin-esque human interest show = building ikea furniture... come on stop playing
Benny u missed the point in why ppl are mad about the new Ray movie director; it’s because she is an activist with no experience making sci fi movies other than two episodes of ms marvel.
Reboot coming after the introduce the new x-men...not soft reboot and hopefully Univeral buys Marvel, with a focus on quality over quantity
