    if while driving the led flashes red and loses speed, it is a weak battery or an overheated ESC

      if its soon in the run then your battery is weak. get good name brand packs with 65c or higher rating.

    I’m about to buy a new boat and have narrowed it down to either the Sonicwake 36 or the Veles 29. Any recommendations between those two boats? Buying both right now isn’t an option. Thanks

      First boat probably the Sonicwake. The Veles 29 handles better but you need rescue rig if it flips. Ths sonicwake has self righting.

    any suggestions for battery choice? Would like top speed when i want to.. but also get some longer runs when i want to.. (obviously less throttle I'm sure is the answer). around 5 min will be max with this boat or any FE boat. I wouldn't recommend any mah higher than 6,000mah because weight becomes an issue and can overheat due to the added weight. I run 5,000mah packs. This boat would be a great first Fe Boat. The TFL Pursuit is a good on as well.

    • @MrMad2424
      @MrMad2424  3 роки тому +1

      Nice! You are only going to get around 5-7 min max with these boats due to the amp draw. You need good batteries in the 5,000mah -6,000mah capacity (the mAh rating is the fuel tank so to speak higher mAh= longer runtime). Just make sure the c rating is at least 60c or higher on what ever batteries you choose. The boat takes 6s and is equipped with a series connector on the esc which is set up for 2 x 3s packs to make 6s. I would suggest using 2 of these 3s lipos here chinahobbyline.com/shop/detail/414

    First off you put out top notch boat reviews, been a subscriber for a few years now and enjoying every vid. So I'm currently running two Joysway boats the Bullet V3 4s and the Rocket V2 3s, both fantastic boats IMO. Now i'm looking to upgrade the collection to a 6s boat. I do like the self righting on the Sonicwake and right now it is my number one pick. I also notice that you haven't tested a Spartan yet. Seems like that is the closest competitor to the Sonicwake. What would you go with if you were to venture to 6s for the first time?

    hi MrMad2424, i currently have the veles 29'' and am thinking of selling that and replacing it with the sonic wake 36 in the video. what are your thoughts on both boats and if you would compare them or had to choose what would it be.

      @@MrMad2424 100%, half of the reason I barely take my ProBoat Stealthwake out anymore is because I’m afraid of flipping it..

    Not as fast as you think... I'd guess it was lucky to hit 45 by the looks of it.

      Good point! That's why I don't guess on speeds...I always rely on my gps devices to show the speeds and not my mind. How fast does this video look like it's going? 52-53mph??? ua-cam.com/video/mlhg8ESVuVQ/v-deo.html&lc=UgyYulmLfZ8jIGvQ_d54AaABAg

      It can be put on in 30 Seconds. I thought one screw wasn't going in straight so I took it off to make sure it was going on right.
