clams casino has a mind that can't be fully expressed by what he says nor can it be fully expressed by his actions but only by his music because it's so deep. also very influential.
So weird that a guy who is making this strange, foggy, and sometimes religious music is so disconnected from how experimental it is. Before this I thought Clams was a esoteric musician that for sure knows Imogen Heap. Turns out he can’t even pronounce her name and just likes rap. That his idiosyncrasy is a coincidence makes me like the music more, way more natural than a tryhard that panders to obscurity.
Very interesting, right? Kinda like how Chief Keef was just a kid in 2012 making music, and now some of his songs are unanimously praised and universally hailed as incalculably influential to the development of hip hop in the 2010s
I listen to a lot of shoegaze guitar wall of sound ambient found sound improv electronica AND hiphop. so when I first heard Clams back before he did A$AP Rocky. Mind blown. Just listen to Gorilla alone. He mentioned Balam Acab too. His Wonder/Wander album is crazy and still relevant. It'd be collector shit if Clams and Balam did a split 7" or something like that.
Back pain, long computer hours, hustle hard, then take a shower Ain't no sleepin' in the race for power Ain't no talkin' with the breath of cowards I'm moving silence -Lil B
This interviewer's lack of enthusiasm, energy and overall creep voiced demeanour makes this real boring which is a shame cos the content from Clams is good.
Random Person Reb Bull Music, kind of ironic it's the least energetic interview ever (love Clams tho, his awkwardness is charming but you can see he's uncomfortable cus of the interviewer)
the vibe in this interview is really quiet not because of clams, but is because the audience and the interviewer.. lol the interviewer looks like he dont wanna be there lol
It's a production school. Idk if you've been in the collegiate setting but sitting back and listening to Clams talk for an hour sounds like the best day of my academic career ever.
The interviewer is awful, he keeps looking at his laptop and loves himself so much... Yuck! Clams, you're lovely and God knows how you got through this!
@@ajpip9719 actually no he said it himself in this interview in a way that lil b made him experiment more implying that he was inspired by him in a way him and b needed each other to make this based ass music
I love his music, total respect, but those explanations, man :D _just like you know like, totally just the you know like._ And the host is the opposite, not enthusiastic at all.
Needs a better host and wish they played "I'm God" without Lil B's rap --- It's like painting the Mona Lisa and then having someone draw a fucking mustache and an eye patch on it with sharpie
worst interviewer I've ever seen in my entire life. not even that he's a failed blogger, it's that his posts never offered insight yet were punched out in the most condescending tone imaginable... trash friends of mine said red bull was pulling comments on this vid... why? they're universally negative for a reason, and andy trashes RBMA every chance he gets, lol
Lil B is just severe Trash. He unbelievably junked Clams' Masterpiece...The only rapper who does justice to clams productions is ASAP Rocky, apart from that it is pure joy to just listen to his instrumental tapes

The thing about clams is that his music is just dripping with emotion. He's such a special artist man
Absolutely 💯
Yessir exactly right

Who comes back to this every year? 🤔
Clams casino, you are the best producer in the world man
Xhanti Mzozoyana you so based.
Don't get me wrong, Clammy is amazing, but seriously?? What about madlib? Dj Paul? Alchemist?
el-p?
Flying Lotus, Ethan Kath, Salem etc...there are millions of producers we could name.. Your point is?
Random Person my point is... As much as I love Clams Casino, he's far from the best producer in the world
clams casino has a mind that can't be fully expressed by what he says nor can it be fully expressed by his actions but only by his music because it's so deep. also very influential.
Ikr
i wanna hear a full clams x asap rocky tape. that would be epic
Listen to Rocky's mixtape, it's basically all produced by clams
I assume u talking about his first tape...I don't think he did it all but he did produce like 5/6 songs on it
+EVIL B yeah you're right actually, but that's the closest you'll be to getting one unfortunately :(

for some people expressing through music is way easier than using words
Yeah you can tell he isn’t like purposely tryna create experimental music he’s just making what he likes
