Color code "T", new for the 1963 Chrysler & Imperial model year, Claret Red is the body paint for this car. The Badlands was the perfect paint palette for the claret red color, it seems to have caught the eye of the passers-by.
I pictured this car to have the 62 striped interior on the first video, I guess I should have looked again. What a nice car... the camera shows how level riding a torsion bar Chrysler is, with minimal pitching, no oingo-boingo coil bounce like a pogo-stick. Fantastic video!
I have to admit, this was a fun episode to watch. Probably in part to reminding me of a trip my wife & I did in 2010 driving our 1975 Dodge chassis motorhome> We drove the I~90 from Seattle, WA to Johnson City, TN to visit our daughter. It was quite the adventure. A few breakdowns along the way that I made repairs much like you do. The Badlands WAS along the way. I was quite fascinated by them. In addition, driving thru Gillette Wyoming., home of the very large coal mining facility. I'm hoping some time soon, you'll add an episode to your Obsolete Vehicle site your current car collection. I would love to watch that one, too. Best regards!
Enjoyed this second episode through the Badlands with some spectacular scenery. The old girl doesn't seem to miss a beat - good going for a 61 year old car.

I drove a '63 Salon for a while. As a kid, I thought the taillights on the '64 Chryslers were kind of cool, but after looking at the 2 years, the '63 is much cleaner, the rear backlight is limo-like being smaller than the '64, the front end is more to the whole look as well.
