I believe I had about 10 minutes to play directly with the otters. It is recommended to visit right after the opening because you may not be able to play with the otters during busy hours.
I don't really like the small spaces - are they always 'working' all day, or do they get breaks to go elsewhere away from the public? Fish and chicken is a good diet - much better than just kibble - and their coats look healthy. Otters are very intelligent and need to have stimulation and rest periods. Everything looks clean, which is good. Sorry for so many questions, but I care a lot about the welfare of otters and want to make sure they are being kept as well as possible. Do they get trips outside at all, such as the countryside or a river to swim in? I did see a larger tank at the entrance. I hope they are being looked after responsibly, they do seem well but I think a bit more space would be better. Thank you for showing us!

I didn't ask if they let the otters outside but I believe they are only open 5 hours a day so they let them go the rest of the day.
