- wow, I can't believe I mastered Turkish in 3 months 😍 SIKE anyways... here's a little progress update for my 3-month-mark! I think I'll be back with another progress update for my 1 year mark... there's soooo muuuchh to be learned! In conclusion, Turkish isn't as hard as I thought it was. It's not easy by any means, but I was so scared for nothing! I can't wait to see what's 2 come ;)

Elysse are you kidding??? As a native Turkish speaker, I can't believe in my ears! You are so fluent, every person in Turkey can understand you perfectly. I have a lot of foreigner friends who lives in Turkey but I can tell you profoundly that non of them can speak Turkish that good, even though they live in here! I'm pretty sure you'll get better than that but I'm so shocked! Hahaha, go girl, umarım burada çok güzel zaman geçirirsin
thank you for the nice comment!! yeah, i think my accent is pretty good but I still have a lot to learn :D making sentences can be so hard.
@@elyssespeaks yeah, they even confuse me sometimes haahah long way to go but i cant think of a better way to start
how can i learn turkish and speak fluently like she?
Reis neden ''hahaha'' dedin? Dilini bilmiyormusun? anfjemhdflanfganf demen lazımdı.
@@mariamhassan8208 learn the Türk (Turkish) alpabe (sorry if i misspell) then learn some verry basic words, then try to wach Türk (Turkish) videos with subtitles and try your best to know what verb comes at what time. Thats how i learned English so that should work i hope.
As i Turkish native speaker, i'd like to say you're much better than you think. Trust me, it's really big succes in just 3 months that speaking like that. Your accent is really pretty. You are really amazing i hope you'll have great time in here. İyi eğlenceler, kendine iyi bak. 😃
thanks so much for the kind words and well wishes! i think my time in Turkey is gonna make me even more excited to learn :”)
She pronounced sıkıcı the correct way, most foreigners pronounce something else :))
@@bodoor8172 :)
You’re absolutely fantastic! Such progress in just 3 months is insane. Good job!!!
thank you so much !!
I totally agree with you, my friend. She is really talent
wow your turkish is really great!! tebrik ederim!!
also just a little note for 2:14 when you say "birazdan türkiyeye gidiyorum" i think it would be more appropriate to use "yakında" instead of "birazdan". "birazdan" has a more immediate meaning, used for very short amount of time.
if you told me "birazdan arkadaşlarımla buluşacağım" i would assume you were going to meet your friends in 10 minutes whereas "yakında arkadaşlarımla buluşacağım" implies near future but NOT immediate.
Good tip! thanks so much
wow, just wow! your pronunciation is great. you speak amazing and considering turkish is a little confusing language because of its conjugation etc. you are really good ☺by the way u can say 'kendimle gurur duyuyorum'
❤❤🥰🥰😊😊
Yeah she wes very good
Your progress is truly amazing! Keep going💗
WOW I am so inspired by you! I love learning languages too! I’m from the US, and I’ve been trying to learn this for almost a year! I could understand almost everything you said, but I definitely can’t speak as well as you! I hope you’re still doing amazing! The way you speak is really clear! Congratulations! You really are amazing!
My Turkish has melted ^-^ You are really fluent, keep learning!
you did such a huge progress in just three months. i am so proud of you. go girll
awww thanks
You are so astounding Elysse! It is shocking to realize how much Turkish you have learned in just 3 months given that it is an agglutinative language and is really tough to learn like Hungarian & Estonian. You never cease to amaze everybody. We love you!
Hello. This is my first time watching your video. I am a native Turkish speaker.
Apart from your easy to understand and correct pronunciation; your grammar, usage of suffixes and word choice is exellent. You didn't make any mistakes with noun cases -which a lot of Turkish learners make, even ones with years of experience-. Also, you used "...sevmiyor değilim." You really impresssed me there. I wouldn't expect that beautiful, and not a bit awkward usage even from Turkish learners who have beeen learning for several years. Sadly my English is not enough to praise your impressive understanding of the structure of Turkish and its nuisances. Have fun on your learning journey. I sense you will discover far more beautiful feautures of Turkish with your understanding that others fail to.
native speaker here! 🙂 "sevmiyor değilim" looks like easy but it is a very complex structure, and you sound very organic while using it. believe me there are natives who still struggle with double negatives! you even use "gurur duyuyorum", these verb usages are not easy, when you think about how absurd it may sound to combine the word "pride" and "to hear" together 😆it takes time to master, look at you doing it this early. 👏a little note: "kendimle gurur duyuyorum" "I am proud WITH MYSELF" I hope you enjoy your trip to Turkey. with this progress in 3 months, you'll be able to be very fluent (not sure if it is your goal for the future) but very well done!
your pronunciation??? helloo? only in three months?!! you're amazing bestie slay
hahahaha thank you!!
Respect for your efforts Elysse. thumbs up
I love your pronunciation. Keep up with learning and improving yourself. Turkish is easy and really hard to learn at the same time. But you're way too great in 3 months
yeah, just like in any language there’s hard and easy aspects :)
💕💕👍👍
i think the "easy and really hard at the same time" goes for all languages tbh
Your process seems to be way too good for only 3 months. And wishing you a speedy upgrade in your journey haha. Keep it up ayyyeee!!
And btw you can use "kendimle gurur duyuyorum" for conveying you're proud of yourself which would sound more natural 🌻💓
Wow impressive progress! I’ve been listening and understanding Turkish but never was that good at speaking
You are perfect omg😍in just 3 months your accent and speaking is really good😍
Your accent is really fluent keep doing like that. I learned a lot of things from you while German learning, I should be thankful
I'm proud of myself= kendimle gurur duyuyorum. And well done!! keep up the good work you're doing great.

Heyy! Türkçen çok güzel, seni seviyoruz Elyyse :)
wow, incredible progress in just 3 months! As a native speaker, I can definitely say you did an excellent job, considering Turkish is not the easiest language to learn especially if you're an English speaker. Your grammar and pronunciation are great. Keep going!
OMGG that's so awesome I likeee turkey also looking so gorgeous todayyy dear also it's amazing feeling when you travel to anywhere 💕💕
I speak as a Turk, make sure you speak better Turkish than some people in Turkey. It's a great success to know so many languages, keep it up👊❤️

You made me feel so much better. I've been studying turkish for the same time pretty much and I feel uncomfortable about my accent 😅
Merhaba arkadaş ! I am Ankita from India n i really like learning different languages n about them, right now i speak Hindi, English n bit of Spanish n Turkish. there is a short story behind me learning bit of Turkish ,few years back i started watching Turkish series n i found the language interesting so i saw more ;) n then i realized by following all those series i started understanding the language n learnt so many words. I didn't even search this, but it suddenly popped up in my recommendation. I just started learning the Turkish language just today because of my love of so wide variety of dizi series. You're one of my inspirations now in learning this language.
awww that’s awesome, i’m glad the youtube algorithm did something right!! hahaha
3 ay gibi kısa bir süre için harika bir gelişme, tebrikler Elysse! 👏
So much Turkish after three months. I'm just like WOW. You are doing great. Keep shining girl.
Big big hello from a Turk I Germany.
You speak Turkish very well and you are very beautiful 👏🇹🇷
thank you and thank you!
No way!! I am also thinking of going to Izmir in 10 days. Maybe see you there! :D
Elysee mükemmel Türkçe konusuyorsun.
mükemmel. 3 ay içinde bu kadar iyi bir seviyeye gelmek büyük başarı. özellikle türkçe gibi zor bir dilde. bravo.
I can't believe this Elysse. Your turkish is fantastic for someone who has only been learning for 3 months
When you say "so I started 3 months ago" don't use "peki".
In this situation you wouldn't actually use anything. Here "peki" is more suitable for a question. "So are you going to come to?" would in some cases be "Peki sende gelecek misin?".
Hope this helped❤
Omg you're speaking perfect!
Başarılarının devamını diliyorum😘🐥
You are wonderful person. I am proud of you ❤❤
As a Turkish teacher, I can say you are doing a great job with Turkish! This is amazing for just three months!
It’s like you kinda have some super powers. It’s hard to believe but whatever, I also really proud of you! Go girl!!! 🎉
It looks like you're pretty much figured Turkish out in 3 months. Grammer, emphasis, vocabulary, suffixes, all were almost perfect. You didn't even make the common mistake of using wrong versions of the right suffixes which usually takes foreigners to figure out longest. I guess your channel name speaks for itself. You can speak! :)
Wow i'm Turkish (also french) and your turkish is really good girl !!! Good job 🤘
Hi from ahmed Morocco , you have been studying hard so far. Great job . I wish you good continuation ….
thanks so much! yes i have, i'm glad you can appreciate it :)
Wow, your Turkish is amazing! One thing I did not know until your video, some of the words in Turkish remind me of Farsi - a surprise but not so much of a surprise.
I need to appreciate u. Youve learned the same amount of turkish ive learned but i learned it in 1.5 years!!! Wowowwww ur turkish is really really really good, keep it up
woww youre going really great wow. Youre such an inspiration for me. Go girl

Hi Did u still studying Turkish
Wow I really surprised about your speaking in Turkish. Your pronunciation is great and you just learned in 3 months, unbelievable. First i thought you are Turkish girl who born and raised in us. Thanks for learning our language.
Üç ay için Türkçeniz harika. Güzel akıcı konuşuyorsunuz ve telaffuzunuz gayet iyi.

@@elyssespeaks aaaaa thank you 😍😍
As a Turk, I can say that this is a pretty good video. I know that it is a Hard language for people whose Mother tongue is an European language. Sentencr structure, pronunciation etc. Great improve ment, keep it up. Have fun in Turkey
This is great, you learned a crazy amount in 3 months
Incredible!
i suggest that you can see some Turkish films.. cause that made me understand Turkish very well and speak too.. love how fast you can learn 😊👍👍
You’re rocking it 😎

Türkçe'yi harika konuşuyorsun, bana güvenebilirsin !
valla bravo be,benden iyi konuşuyosun :)
So good!
COK güzel konusuyorsun❤
KILLING IT
your turkish is perfect! I would love to see travel videos from turkey because i think you will like it! quick tip for istanbul: if you can stay in asian side of the city ( kadiköy maybe) , it would be way better because european side is extremly crowded and has a lot of pushy sellers. also you can travel to european side by a quick ferry ride
I live in Turkey . But I'm not Turkish, I'm Kurdish, I admire you, I also speak Spanish, Italian and English. I love Spain very much. I love you . 💗💗
So cool that you will visit Izmir and Istanbul. Both were central hubs for sephardic life and afaik there are still communities in those cities left.
I really wanna visit some synagogues if there are any out there!
I love your Turkish , i hope you keep learning because you're great at it and your pronounciations are perfffffect. When you said ''Benim Turkcem cok kötü'' i literally smiled and said ''naaaaaaa it's noooooooooot'' . Keep pushing.. :)
You're doing a great job! Do you plan to keep studying until you're fluent and what level do you aim?
Also protip, in Turkish, you don't speak a language, you rather "know" it
For example: -Hangi dilleri biliyorsun?
-Almanca, İspanyolca ve Portekizce biliyorum.
A small detail no one would point out but I thought you might wanna know :)
i’m turkish and i came across your video. i think you speak turkish really good :)
thanks!!
Omg, you speak turkish very well. Keep Going!!😍👍🏻🤩
thank you, sağ ol!
True, my friend
Lol I'm so jealous of how much you managed to learn in 3 months.

I am proud of myself: Kendimle gurur duyuyorum…Excellent video
im fluent in turkish and you literally speak better than me 🤣 ur pronunciation is great
Bahahah no way! Hiç olmaz! that’s very sweet of you though
Çok güzel konuşuyorsun! Ben de 3 ay Korece öğrenmeye çalışıyorum ama senin kadar iyi değilim. 3 ayda nasıl o kadar güzel konuşmayı başardın bilmiyorum ama harika gidiyorsun. Şu ana kadar akıcı konuşabiliyorsundur heralde :].
Çok iyi konuşuyorsun👏
You’re sound so understandable and even like a native
3 ay içinde güzel bir ilerme kaydetmişsin 👏🏻 Türkçe öğrenmesi zor bir dil. Telaffuzun da gayet iyi 👍🏻 Başarılar
