    So glad to see you back. Happy New Year!! And thank you so much for the baking tips!! From here on out I will make sure to mix my butter 15 to 20 minutes!!!

      Just keep in mind that the time I beat the butter might change mainly on temperature. If the butter is slightly cold still, then you will beat it for longer, if the butter is fully at room temperature, then you can do a bit less time. You do want to see that butter fluff and turn creamy and pale yellow.

    Hi Edna, I miss seeing your beautiful cakes, I’m so happy that I got your notification that you’re back!
    What are some of your favorite light frostings ?

      We used one called Suspiro. It's really good but is not stable enough for weddings in my opinion. I used to make it for birthday cakes for my friends. It's basically an Italian buttercream without the butter.

    Hi, do you have a video for your Pistachio Cardamom Caramel Cake? I last made this recipe years ago but I don't remember if the Vanilla caramel coffee creamer was liquid or powder. Also, did you use a cream cheese frosting for this cake? thank you in advance

    • @EdnaDelacruz
      @EdnaDelacruz  3 роки тому

      You have to make sure they are sliced straight and you have to be careful with the filling also.

      Welcome to my channel. It's one of the first channels opened years ago for things about cake when the information about cake decorating was almost impossible to find on the internet.

    The first should be to select good recipes. Lots of people have recipes and tutorials posted that are doomed to fail but the novice would not know this .

    • @EdnaDelacruz
      @EdnaDelacruz  3 роки тому

      Yeah, that is important but sadly it's not as easy to know if a recipe is good or not until you make it. I can see a recipe and guess but with baking, the best way to learn is by testing and trying. You might thing something won't work and then you try it and it might work. You never know.
