Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

The girl he pulls up on stage in the video is Courtney Cox who played Monica on Friends.
In rock music, there's Bruce, then everyone else.
Shawn, I appreciate your love for great rock music, especially when you experience the songs of Bruce Springsteen.
As you requested, here's some songs from his 1980 double album, "The River" that I recommend for you:
HUNGRY HEART
Big hit single, great sing along song.
POINT BLANK
A dark and sad song about a lost love. Riveting.
RAMROD
An infectious rocker. It's impossible to sit still for this one.
And here's some songs from his 1984 worldwide breakthrough album "Born in the USA", that I recommend for you:
I'M ON FIRE
This certainly isn't a love song.
More like a lust song.
GLORY DAYS
Big hit single. Funny and infectious.

As you go deeper into Springsteen's music, you should be aware that Bruce actually has had TWO completely different approaches to recording his music. There's his work fronting the mighty E Street Band, plus Bruce also has done albums as a solo acoustic artist in the tradition of early Bob Dylan.
In his stripped down acoustic work, Springsteen gets to the heart of his songs with often stunning results.
Here's the link to a solo acoustic version of "Born to Run".
It's fantastic.

Spirit in the Night, please. Or anything from Darkness on the Edge of Town.
Bruce is one of the nicest people in rock. Gives really long, energetic concerts, too. When I saw him, the concert was almost 4 hours long. Amazing performer.
This song is the epitome of the mid 80s and the dance was everywhere throughout the early to mid 80s! Wish music was still this great.
Filmed at my local arena. I went to that show, but a different day - he sold out 3 shows (18,000 per show) and they even sold seats behind the stage!
He's touring in Europe right now but will be back in the states in late summer. Go if you can at all. He's still phenomenal.
I would love to check him out if he comes near my town!
If you want to see a traditional video, try I’m On Fire official video. It’s from the Born In The USA album❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
They don't call him The Boss for nothing. Great songwriter
Gret song and commentary Brotherman Shawn-this was on heavy rotation on MTV. He could go from fun songs like this to deeply serious material from album to album.
Bruce Springsteen has great energy, love this. Hip and cool energy. My 2 favs are Spirit in the Night and Streets of Philadelphia. ( Dancing in the Dark, Summertime kegger music)
Ooh Spirit in the Night. I knew every person described in that song when I was in high school. I was a few of them myself at various times, too.
@@lauraallen55 Isn't that the truth. So fun
I got to see Bruce and the E-Street Band twice in about a week period in 1982 when he was touring behind The River. Both concerts were phenomenal. I yelled myself hoarse at one of them. Great live show, go if you get the chance to see him live.
I really want a chance to catch them live!
Haha! It's kinda funny that you confused Courtney Cox with Demi Moore, because in an episode of Friends, she asked Phoebe to cut her hair like Demi Moore's hair. Sadly, Phoebe got Demi Moore mixed up with Dudley Moore, the British actor who is most famous for playing the title role in the movie "Arthur," as well as "10" and "Bedazzled" plus many more.
Lol, hey so I wasn't so far off 😂
I saw this tour the summer after highschool. Bruce is my hero, but this is him at his "pop star" peak. Not his greatest. Born To Run is his greatest, and one of Rocks greatest albums. Thanks Shawn!
Can’t go wrong with any of these albums, Born to Run, Darkeness on the Edge of Town, Nebraska or Born in the USA
The funniest thing in the world is Adam Sandler doing this on SNL! It is so great, worth a watch after watching this!
Nebraska, Darkness on the Edge of Town, and really I could name 3 more easily. Until you hear Nebraska though, you really wont get the depth of talent of the man. Raw, Acoustic, recorded at home. Trust me.
The Boss - he was so damn cool! I heard he pulled up to the We Are the Children recording driving a muscle car, like a Camero or something.
I never get tired of watching him 😁
Great song! Seeing Bruce live is a religious experience!!!
💜💜💜💜💜 Love Bruce and this song. His shoulder rolls are so sexy. From the album, Born In The U.S.A., my favorite songs are, "Dancing In The Dark", "Born In The U.S.A.", "I'm On Fire", "Cover Me", "Glory Days", "My Hometown", "Bobby Jean", "Downbound Train", "Working On The Highway".....aww hell the whole album is good. 🥰
Don't miss "No Surrender" 😄
The Boss # 1
He and the E street band did put on a great show!
❤❤❤❤
He played for Roy Orbison, forgotten which video though.
Love your reactions.. you have to check out Jungleland from Bruce from his Born to Run album please.
1975 - Born To Run
1982 - Atlantic City
1984 - Born in the USA
1984 - Cover Me
1984 - Glory Days (Do this one next!!!!)
1984 - Pink Cadillac (B side of "Born in the USA" single)
I was soooo in love ❤
There are a bunch of people behind the foggy haze clapping. One of them (yellow shirt) is my brother. He got a spot because of being in the right place at the right time! Filmed in Minnesota.
Anutha jam!
Love his early stuff best. So in tune with the desperate times. The start of the decline of the middle class.
Yes
Good day Shawn....you HAVE to react to Bruce Springsteen, Tenth Avenue Freeze- Out (Live in New York City).....it is a religious experience!
At the time - EVERYONE knew the original “Dancing In The Dark” from 1931, sung by Fred Astaire, and written by Howard Deitz & Arthur Schwartz. Springsteen’s was playing off of that one. People nowadays don’t seem to understand that.
React to "No Surrender" from "Born In The USA" next, best song on the album!
Never heard Dancing in the Dark? ))
yes, courtney cox and demi moore have similar looks imo but 1/2 generation apart
Give Cortney Cox the right haircut and she looks like Dudley Moore. RIP to a great saxophonist, Clarence Clemons.
He’s too liberal for me now, too bad i did enjoy his work.
