In the melody sounds Wings to me, like Red Rose Speed Way, Juniors Farm and High High High.
Love these two, at their best they blend all the best elements of The Beatles and The Beach Boys. I agree with what you said about Sweet Vibration, they need to be careful that they don’t become a parody of themselves but excited where they take their sound next. I can’t believe how much Michael sounds like John Lennon on Church Bells, glad someone else picked up on it as well. Favourite track at the moment is In the Eyes of the Girl; literally feels like I could bathe in that song.
Yea In The Eyes of the Girl is easily one of my favourites on the album. It's a pretty consistent album and I find it to be overall more consistent than Everything Harmony but with not as many high moments as Everything Harmony. Thanks for watching!

I'm getting a lot of Mike Nesmith in "If You and I Are Not Wise". And "Rock On" is a mash-up of Bolan, Slade and Mott. Very 70's.
To me jts not quite the level of everything Harmony, but it's still a good album probably my second favorite from them. Only song on this album I full on dislike is sweet vibrations, I just don't think it works
If you and I are not wise, Peppermint roses, in the eyes of a girl are the non single standout for me

Yes I agree. Second to last track also shouldn’t have been on there. I think it would also have been better if they didn’t release the best songs like golden years and how can I love her more before the album because then they are not new tracks
I like sweet vibrations! So far the only two songs i'm not too excited about are 'In the eyes of the girl' and 'I should've known right from the start'. Wasn't sure about 'Rock On' as well, but now it's kinda growing on me, a fun little rock'n'roller.
I think you're right that it's not as good as everything harmony, but it's a lot catchier and happier. just going for a different sound and feeling, and I think it achieves that.
