Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
*Altogether a well made lure **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s the skirt seems to stay on well and the whole thing is bigger than I thought it would be. The 2 metal have a nice plating on them as well.*
I really benefit from your information when you provide the reason WHY you use a certain bait or trailer. Down here in South Louisiana majority of our water is mirky or muddy.
We Floridians could sure use a MTB for fishing our shallow lakes. I'd have bought a MTB before now but crankbaits and lures that are deep divers, are of no use to me and my buddies in the Sunshine State. How about a MTB "Shallow Water" version?
Hazama Yakiba idk what kind of water you fish, or what box you get, but my boxes are perfect for Florida. That punch rig 3 months ago was perfect for punching pads in Florida. Same as the frog, drop shot rigging, Neko rigging, and every other lure they put in them in the past 6 months.
Thank you Mtb and LFG for this video, it’s amazing how much UA-cam has taught me about fishing. I couldn’t tell the difference between a crankbait and jerkbait before UA-cam
Love you channel, you speak slow easy to follow . Your the channel will watch more , I'm new in fishing need Lot of help , going to buy in few hour a baitcast reel and rod in Amazon , don't want spend more the $50 in the reel , can you recommend one.? Other thing im using mano fish line , and have Fluorocarbon , im confuse everyone have different opinion , hope you get back for the baitcast reel
Sum Guy use a dark colour such as black or black and blue. You'll want a trailer that gives off good thumps like a ultra vibe speed craw from zoom. Edit: it's cold right now and the fish are sluggish so you might want a slow moving trailer
Being in Florida Iv been hearing, seeing, and about to try using, Keitech FAT swing impact swim baits with my swim jigs. Anyone try the Keitech’s with any success and what size do you normally use with a swim jig? I’m trying the 4.8in but may trim the head if it’s too long. I also think the Keitech swim baits would be good to use by itself on a worm hook with no jig. Curious if anyone else’s has tried them since they can get a lil pricey. Are they worth it?
I normally use more natural colors, like green pumpkin in 1-2 foot visibility zone, but some times the bass just want darker colors like black and blue even in clear water. If I was you I would fish one color for a little while, if you get no bites switch colors. Also try to match the color of the food source in your water

Outstanding video. I’ve never fished jigs but I’m going to pick a few up before I go out this evening. Thanks much.

Toby Tomlinson only every time I throw a bait in the water
Toby Tomlinson hell yea all the time
Toby Tomlinson all the time i wouldnt last a second as a bass lol
Toby Tomlinson every time I look at a lure I would like
Yea the you get that confidence like yea there gonna bite today
Nice video Justin. I found all of this very helpful. I am new to bass fishing and this helped a lot. Thanks
Zoom Z-Craw jr .. favorite all time trailer for jigs
Justin! What a fantastic video with great detailed information and visualization. Love it. Great job J.
Wow !!! Suddenly everything gets much easier! Great explanation!!! Thank you!
Can't wait to go fishing now!

Cool video! Just got my box today!
💥💥 Great video and information Justin 👍 and MTB 💯
I love zoom and missile baits some of the best baits and cannot beat the prices.
Great video thanks MTB and LFG
thanks sir. this I did need to now. I've asked on few channels glad you made this. now to learn what to use on the chatter bait. god bless.
Use Havoc pit boss as a trailer, they work well during the spring
great video Justin you should do a similar more in depth one on your channel!

Also, if you are Fishing where deep diving cranks won't work, you should probably get out of your neighborhood retention pond and fish a real lake
Brock Beckman yes, because we all have boats
That defeats the purpose of the MTB. You're gonna know that all of the lures are gonna be shallow water divers. It's not a mystery anymore.
@@sinovenatorsamyt4213 it's not a mystery in the first place lol.
Mr. Rackley, great job sir! Bill Dance of this generation!

Any tips on lake bass in the summer
MTB would have a lot better success if they would tailor the boxes to the type of fishing done in that part of the country.
You mean like the Local version??
mysterytacklebox.com/local/
Nobody has ever been able to answer that question so far!
Not even FLUKEMASTER Gene Jensen! Thanks!! Now this is a box I might actually buy!
Cerus98 unfortunately
Very good tips , I enjoyed that thx
Thanks for sharing old chap👍
Great video Playa! That music is dope!!
Whats your opinion about mixing jig & trailer colors. Or matching them up with the same color. Thanks.

Great video, good input.
awesome video thanks for the tips
That’s rackley !!!
what jighead and trailer is this at 2:30 in? this is exactly what i need color wise. thanks!
Gig 'em!
Well done. Nice informative video.
I never caught a bass on a jig can someone tell me what jig to fish this time of year and what color should I use for murky brown water
Sum Guy use a dark colour such as black or black and blue. You'll want a trailer that gives off good thumps like a ultra vibe speed craw from zoom. Edit: it's cold right now and the fish are sluggish so you might want a slow moving trailer
Sum Guy I never have either... but I just fish mostly clear water...
Finesse jig is good for this time of year and a black or blue or dark color is great for murky water
go with a black and blue flipping jig. it's a good all around Jig. and the trailer just go with whats feels fight to you
Sum Guy use black and blue and fall
How about a vid on what to use as trailers on chatter baits
Very nice job
Good video
Everytime I hear that intro beat I think TOP NOTCH IDIOTS......
I got a LSU football jig
Hey Playa, Whats The Name Of That Music In The Background?

What about swim jigs?
Aren't you part of the googan squad ur wat serious good job though very informative
Googan gang
Interesting
What about swim jig
If visibility is about 1-2 feet do I use natural or dark colors

I'd say combine them put a green pumpkin trailer on a black and blue jig.
how about spring time
What happened to Travis?
Notification Squad!!
I only fish swim jigs.... when I fish them
Suh
It's all good until you come to a lake/pond bottom that's pure algae mush on the bottom. 😒
sounds like my pond
