I personally don't see the need for a tactical pen. All metal or stainless steel pens are more classy in looks and cheaper to buy on Amazon or other Internet stores. The Zebra pen is a good choice and has been upgraded to the FxMD, which has all metal parts.I appreciate the review on an interesting topic.

I carry a separate emergency glass breaker such as the resqme, but i don't know how tsa will view this item?

It has slid through several times. No guarantee that it always will though.
