The biggest one may not match wrecks but decent size one are out the on the jetties. I’ve caught many 15”-18”, number of 19”s and two 20”+ including my PB 21.75” from the Jetty so far. For me, I’ve never caught anything bigger than 18” on the party boat. :)
No I never tried it. It’s hard to use braid around these jetty’s because once you scrape against a rock with braid it will easily rip. But I’ll definitely try that thanks.

So you lost the tog jig pretty fast? Did you try egg sinker on top of your hook?

Are the gloves you wear to better grip the fish? Or do they just feel gross idk I don’t like touching things so that also makes sense to me 😂
Lol I wear the gloves to get better grip because these fishes are very slippery
