WINNING the Tightlined Slam Fishing Tournament! (Norwalk CT)

Our team came in first place and took home the cup! We won by being the only team to complete a "slam" which consisted of catching multiple striper, bluefish, and bonito or false albacore. Our team landed over 40 stripers, 5 bluefish, and 12 bonito! There was only one other hardtail caught throughout the whole tournament.
The Annual Tightlined Slam is a catch-and-release fly and light tackle fishing tournament in the western Long Island Sound. The tournament is dedicated to raising money and awareness for the conservation of our fisheries and marine resources.
