Two park premier pass is the play for my wife and I. We’ve had those for a couple years now.
Ya, I think dropping Volcano Bay is just the move for us right now.
If I lived in FLA I would certainly choose premier pass! The time saved waiting in line is worth the cost. Get more life back ! Lol, work hard play hard 😊 Nicole is so right with the hassle of VB travel, it sounds like an inconvenience you have to be in the mindset for. Thanks for another great video, have fun on the cruise!
Premiere is sooo worth it, but ya... VB just takes a lot to do the whole trip. It's like getting to MK over at Disney, you just have to do a lot of traveling and hopping around to get to the park, which makes it hard to "just go". Because you also have to do that to go back home, too. It's not just to get there haha.
I love being a Premier UOAP. We're opting for 2 parks this time, too. Waiting is hard, but I have faith UOR will continue to take care of us, so we'll see what it'll be like for Epic eventually. I expect, through 2024 at least, Epic entry is going to be more of an extended preview than a true grand opening. Attendance is going to be extremely controlled. You're right about the Nintendo store and Butterbeer
We love it, too! I think this will give us the perks we love, but save us a little money dropping Volcano Bay. I really do hope that Epic allows for some sort of Annual Pass, even if you only get a few hours a day or something inside. I'd love to just see them really offer an Annual Pass of sorts, even if it's a separate purchase and not an add-on.

I love the premier cuz of express after 4PM and valet. I have mobility issues and valet is a godsend and of course we tip
We did the same thing! We kept our premier pass 2 park pass without volcano bay! We wanted to prepare for Epic Universe!
I think it just makes the most sense for us, honestly! Still gives us all of the perks we love, while saving money in the end.

That's odd, my comment didn't seem to post, so I'll write it again.
When Volcano Bay was not open yet, I upgraded to the 3 park pass early. Afterwards, Universal gave those of us who get the 3 park pass early an invite to the Volcano Bay grand opening ceremony. This was really cool as we got to see the ceremony in person, ride everything an hour before the park opened to the public, and even got free all you can eat breakfast.
Because of this, I'd actually suggest keeping Volcano Bay as a 3 park pass, because Universal may offer a surprise like that to those who get a 4 park pass (if such a thing is created) for Epic Universe, where maybe only those that have the complete package, get invited to the earliest preview of Epic Universe. We don't know what Universals plans are with AP for Epic or anything, or whether they will do anything special like that, but it might be worth it just in case.
Oh wow! That seems like a lot of fun! That'd be super cool if they did something similar. And you got to experience what I assume not many people EVER got to experience. What a unique experience!
It's hard to keep VB when we don't go enough, unfortunately. We still haven't made the decision. We just have to make sure we visit the park enough. I'm not sure what the plans are for Epic, yet. And I'm curious if they'll have it as an add-on or more of a separate pass. With the demand being so high, I can only imagine it won't be a very easy choice for tickets/passes for them. They'll have to figure out how they want to approach it. Many people are going to want passes, but they have to make the right financial decision while also keeping guests happy. Difficult situation to be in!
I think itd be a cool idea for them to add maybe a 1 day a month entrance added to the premier pass or something. Charging two passes would be wild. Disney doesn’t so it wouldn’t be financially beneficial to do something intentionally worse than its competition imo.
I do think Universal does a lot of unique things for Passholders, so we could maybe see something unique implemented. But that'll be for them to decide! I'd still really like to see what the plans for Epic passes are (if there are any). I know all of us are patiently waiting to get announcements ha.
I had a two park preferred pass with volcano. Then I let it expire because I learned I would lose the renewal discount by dropping volcano. I waited until they had a sale, think i paid around 470, and got it back with just the two park.
as for Epic i think there will be nada initially for passholders. They already said you have to buy multi day tickets to get access first.
@@ducheau100 that's interesting. I'll have to see what they say when we talk to them. I know the first information is from 3rd party sellers, not direct sales. So anything is on the table, technically, but I'm hoping we get good options for passes sooner than later! But I don't think I'll hold my breath
I've had the Premier 2-Park pass for many years now. As I've mentioned, I'm not a water ride/parks person anyway.
I had to renew a week ago, and kept the Premier. I'm not sure what Universal has in store for pass holders and EPIC. Time will tell. If I were to speculate, I think for the first year or so, EPIC will be operated by a single day ticket - which considering it is a new park, makes sense. I say two years before an annual pass/fast pass is instituted for EPIC.
I agree with Nicole - the Premier pass is worth the price just because of the fast pass after 4 PM.
I suspect Universal already knows how they are doing the tickets for EPIC, but are not saying a word because they know people will start complaining. People will be complaining no matter what they do anyway.
Get a strap for the sunglasses so when you take them off they hang around your neck. Nerdy I know - but it works. Be well.
This was our first time being a annual pass holder plus we out of towners. Takes about 6 hrs to get there. We are top tier as well. Was it worth it, yes as we have had a blast coming down once a month. It is very expensive but we arent getting annual pass next year. For top tier they should offer more like better hotel discounts for weekends or better pricing on tickets for family members we bring with us. Just something special for top tier. Even the lowest price hotel once a month gets expensive. Other thing I didnt care for is the high school and middle school grad days as those weekends ended our trip earlier than was expected so we couldnt use our express pass much. Prob just do maybe an informer next year.

Personally, i would get rid of VB as an add on. The fast pass after 4 is great, i personally would keep it because if your not there till after 4 its perfect it cuts time down qnd lets you do things.
I think if they had the Express after 4 at Volcano Bay, it would be a different story. But unfortunately we don't use VB enough, so we have to make that decision. Premiere is still just a great option for us, so I think that's our approach!
