This is what I heard on a podcast called Denis Rox. "Discipline exists when love is abandoned" - Mike. Take it for what it is, but if examined not sure if discipline is actually an expression of self love.
It's the ultimate expression of self love, as you're wanting to improve yourself. As Goggins says, you can have a great support system and everyone can love you, but it ultimately falls upon you. It's all up to you what happens in your life, and the sooner you realize that, the better off you'll be.
It’s the best form of self love because you’re actually doing the things your mind knows are good for you regardless of how you feel.
