I've never seen anyone replace a bolt like at 2:15. I use a tool to do it and can do it just shy of 15 seconds, but have never been able to do it this way. Holding back like that makes ithe charging handle surface crooked and doesn't align with the bolt recess for it. However, he not only does it, but so quick that I'm just amazed.
Thank you!
Gloves?
Just got a new 10/22 and right out of the box the stock charging handle is being a total piece of crap - handle is already wobbly, and is sticking like crazy - it is almost impossible to get it go go back in so I can drop the bolt back into place after I did a thorough cleaning of the firearm. Pretty bad when even ballistol can't solve this issue. Replacing it with one of these Precision Print Labs handles.
My charging handle is too stiff to push back, and the tolerance between the bolt and the receiver is making it damn near impossible to get in. How did you get yours to just pull back without issue? I'm using the skeletonized Tandem Kross handle off the ShopRuger store if it matters.
If you push the charging handle in to the opposite side and seat it at the rear, it will be easier to compress the spring.
Did you have the blue gloves on ?
I just went through this same mess.Looked so easy. Finally got it together.Bet it never comes out again. All this just to match the red trigger.Ha.
