I am a scientist and i love fishing, using fish oil for attractants isn’t really attractive due to oil and water doesn’t dissolve well together, to solve this you need to mix another substance named lecithin to the oil to make it dissolves in water better, for soft plastic lures, I recommend using a gel agent instead of water/oil, you could mix fish oil, lecithin, and Xanthan gum (for gel agent), just rub it on the soft lures, and go catch some fish!
Great video! Some really nice catches. I don't believe I'll go the route of cutting all the fish oil pills! But glad you did. The meal you prepared afterwards looked incredible. Love that portion of your videos!
That stuffed flounder looked AMAZING!!! I will have to try that one with a big flounder I have in the freezer with some fresh caught shrimp.......OH YEAH!! Great video, it was cool watching you make your own baits and catching fish on them the way life should be. God bless and keep the videos coming.
Man that looks delicious,, as always brother another great video, I can't tell you the last time I seen a flounder come out of that spot, or any where close so congratulations on that. Keep em coming brother and God bless.
Love your channel and videos! Here's a hint for making your baits. Instead of pouring the plastic in, if you put the tip on your injector first, and push the plunger all the way to the tip, then dunk it in your mixing cup and pull the plunger back to suck the plastic up inside you won't get any or as many air bubbles when you shoot your baits! The real trick is getting the plastic to just the right temperature range for it to really work well. (I can't tell you how many times I've burned the plastic learning this!) Thanks again for your content. Thumbs up!
Dang it bro. I'm going to have to try some of these recipes lol. I don't usually eat fish but you know I love the shrimp. But that looked really good even made my stomach grawl and I just ate 😂.
@@PelicanBoneOutdoorsI'll have to find some flounder that's not 15$ a pack first 😂. Seafood and fish in general can be pricey here in Central Alabama lol if hate to sew it's prices in other states like Cali 😂.
Dude, flounder is one of my top three fish also. Bake em whole in the oven . When they first pop open ,Hell yeah! That looks good what you did. I'm gonna try that as soon as I can hook up with one of them flatties
I have been teaching Gold Star Kids how to catch since 2015 on the following. Cheapest fish oil capsules we can find. Use the capsules after it sits in truck on a hot day a couple hours then attach to a hook as you would a salmon egg. Apply bait (we use trout paste type) under the capsule and then cut a second capsule and drip the oil onto the paste. Then cast as normal. Since 2015 we have had many mini test comparisons between kids using this method vs kids just using the paste and the ones with the fish oils catch 2:1. Keep in mind most of the kids are between 8-16 years old so skill sets vary greatly but the numbers always seem to be the same. Most important is use really cheap capsule unfiltered, will cause burping and foul taste when you take one yourself. The better quality fish capsules suck! I believe the closer to pure raw unfiltered fish oil capsules work out the best. Also leave line alone once cast I think the capsule leaks oil and creates a scent trail to the baited hook.

I’ve never fished for tilapia.
I really wish you had a third bro
fishing plain bait for a control
It was hard enough to juggle the two. lol. That would have been ideal though.
Figured the fish oil would have worked better interesting
Is that a pissed off chicken screaming in the background?
It’s actually about 60 pissed off chickens. Lol
Who's Gary?
How come you're always the only person doing taste tests, where's the wife?
Probably because she don’t trust my cooking. 😂
WD40? 🤔
Should not have watched this while I was hungry, no.
